Good day

I flew on Air France Flight AF 1564 from Paris to Birmingham on Thursday 24 November 2022. I left from terminal 2E. My hand bag -a pink leather Country Road tote bag was scanned in the basket provided through the security scanner. It emerged badly marked with grey /sliver marks on the entire one side. I spoke to the manager at the gates and showed him the bag. This was at approximately 5 .15 pm on the 24th. He said to file a complaint which I did (while waiting at the gate). I have had no reply. I also took photos which I attach. Unfortunately the bag has been damaged and cannot be repaired as there are silver lines and marks embedded in the leather which despite trying to remove cannot be removed. These photographs were taken immediately after going through the scanner and while at the gate waiting to board. I spoke to a lady and showed her this -at security as well as the manager on duty at the time. This was a new bag and had no marks on it at all except what transpired after the security.
