Originally, I thought my account was paid in full when I finished therapy in the beginning of August. They had billed me for an additional $39 on August 16th and when I brought it to their attention that I was no longer a patient, they refunded my money to my credit card.
Then I got an email from [protected]@advancedmd.com on Mon 9/12/2022 at 10:28 AM saying:
[edited] Your statement is ready to view! Please use the link below to view your statement online. You can also pay your balance in part or in full. The link was an invoice for $5930.
If this really was the company I had counseling with, they would know that I already was billed monthly (January through August) for $39 /month as well as what Medicare part B and Mutual of Omaha plan G paid them. When the therapist [edited] left them in August, he discharged me and the real Thrive Counseling company sent me a refund. Here is that email:

[protected]@thriveworks.com or call us at +[protected]. — Initially I thought that since my account has been paid and the counselor I spoke with no longer works for them, I believe that someone (and employee?) stole my records and decided to re - bill me without realizing that my account was paid in full.
When I tried to contact them, they said I had to prove every payment. Well, it is all on my Mastercard that they billed every month and the real Thrive Counseling accepted $39/ month as well as my Medicare and Mutual of Omaha insurance as payment in full.
Now, I am not sure who Thriveworks is. I [edited] have issues and they are scaring me sending repeated bills. When I contacted Thrive Counseling they sent a copy of my last refund today:

So, the first bill was for $5,930.00 on 09/12/2022 from Stacia Buford at [protected]@advancedmd.com phone [protected].
I replied to bill to my insurance as agreed before starting last December. Then I received a bogus bill that doesn’t match anything in the statements from both Medicare and Mutual of Omaha. The current bill they emailed me stated Insurance Balance $1180.00 and patient balance $2970.00 which still makes no sense. After writing to them about the $39/month they billed my credit card, they said they had no record of that and asked me to send the card numbers to them and copies of every statement.
To date, they only billed Mutual of Omaha which is a supplemental insurance that pays what Medicare B does not. They told Thriveworks they must first bill Medicare part B. There NEVER was a bill to Medicare and I have checked and rechecked every monthly statement with Medicare who said it was a covered service.
Since Thriveworks were the ones supposedly sending me the statements and charging my account every month, how can they say they have no record? It is clearly posted on every one of my Mastercard statements since last January.
Now they are sending harassing emails several times a week since September 12th demanding online payment be made. There is no listed address for the company and payment must be made at the link they sent.
I never went into an office to see anyone although I was told that the therapist was in Alexandria or some northeastern city of VA. I don’t want these fraudulent charges to mess up my credit. Help, please?
Desired outcome: Stick to the original agreement which was they would accept what Medicare part B paid along with what Mutual of Omaha plan G paid and the $39/month I paid since last January AS PAYMENT IN FULL.
