My Michigan taxes were calculated wrong. Instead of $250 refund I ended getting a letter from State of Michigan of Treasury stating I owe $139. Line 17 was wrong. They corrected it with a 4.25% taxable income. I guess HR Block used the wrong %.

The company Georgia Tax Appeals LLC was hired to appeal the property tax bill and in the result they have saved me about $3, 000. I was so glad until I got the bill from these guys. They wanted to get $2, 800 for their services. I am shocked, because they haven’t told me about such sum before. Their services are too expensive and I don’t have any other option and I must pay.
