Tax Defender USA review: Tax relief consulting

The foreign call center called me on 7/6/2022 with a spoofed caller ID, showing my area code in MN, even though they are located in NY.

They called me while I was at work and interrupted my work day.

They cold called me without my consent, even though my phone number has been listed on the DNC since 2006. This violated my privacy rights and the Federal TCPA regulations.

When I tried to contact them to discuss this TCPA violation, they ignored me. I can only imagine them ghosting anyone with a problem once they get your money. They have blocked my communications to settle this matter according to my rights spelled out in the TCPA "private right of action".

Their plan was to collect $299 to run IRS reports and then probably charge me more for them to "reduce" my tax debt (which I told them was only $1400).

Even though the gentleman was respectful on the phone, this company is a scam. If you can't afford to pay my tax bill, how can you afford to pay them their fees? Once he sent the paperwork, he hounded me to sign them (while I was at work).

I encourage anyone who has had their privacy violated by this company to report them to the FTC and attorney general.

Tax Defenders has a history of violating the federal TCPA regulations, by calling people without consent and not checking phone numbers against the NDNC list before hand.

No matter what their excuse might be, the fact is, THEY CALLED ME WITHOUT CONSENT AND WITHOUT CHECKING THE DNC LIST FIRST, THEREFORE BREAKING THE LAW. I am exercising the right to protect my privacy, which is protected by the TCPA.
