Superior Siding review: Shed repair

We hired this guy to do some rehab work on our shed... Replace the walls, replace the sil, add vinyl siding and replace the roof shingles. He had been referred to us by a customer who had worked with him as a subcontractor with newpro. He quoted us $2, 600 which we found to be very fair. We signed an agreement with him in July and the project was to be completed over a weekend in August. We paid him a deposit of $1,300 for materials. He then proceeded to reschedule 4 separate times and never showed up. Daily phone calls and text messages go unanswered. When I left him a message accusing him of stealing our money, he finally called us 3 weeks ago and promised to have our money returned to us by January 7. We're still waiting, and he's ghosting us. Don't hire this guy.
