I have had such trouble getting a reliable electrician until I found Sunrise Electric. Marvin has come out to replace multiple electric panels and equipment in our gated community over the last year. He has been on time, friendly, reliable and communicates with me throughout the job. I really appreciate that Marvin sends me pictures of the before and after so I can share them with my Board of Directors. Deena the manager is really helpful and nice too. I will continue to call Sunrise for all my electrical needs and request Marvin!

Tyler came to our home today to inspect a home built in 99. Tyler walked me through my home and pointed out what needed to be done to bring it current. Tyler was very informative and knowledgeable in his ability. He worked tirelessly as we added to his already work flow. He is very courteous and respectable of our home. Tyler completed his work and did not leave until we were comfortable and happy with his work which we are. We will recommend your company to anyone who ask because if Tyler. Sunrise Electric was contracted to fix electric breaker problems, update all of our circuits, breaker panels and outlets. They installed surge protectors on our two air conditioners and the whole house. George, the technician and Matt his apprentice were very professional in discussing everything they found in this 1984 house and the recommendations for correcting the issues. We now feel much safer from electrical fires that might be caused by different owners handyman efforts and power surges that are common in Florida. Pricing was reasonable. I recommend Sunrise in general and George and Matt specifically.

Excellent company, excellent job. Very fair price. They stand behind the work with a good warranty. Out of all the companies participating in our home renovation (multiple)...they definitely stand out as the best overall: timeliness, communication, follow-through, quality of work, professionalism, fair & transparent pricing and overall experience = thanks to George (and his assistant). They went above & beyond. In the cesspool of shady, lazy, half-a## job doing, price gouging, un-reliable & dishonest contractors/service providers that the renovation/repair industry has become...George (backed by Sunrise) is a man among men.

We were unsure as to the nature and extent of our "electrical problem". James came out, listened to our explanation and then did his own inspection. We could not have been more impressed with the thoroughness of his inspection and the subsequent time he took to thoroughly explain what he found. He offered several options to include fixing the immediate problem as well as options to prevent future problems. No hard sell- the choice was ours. We could not have been more pleased with the exceptional service provided. James and his assistants (Jamiek, Matt and Zach) are truly assets to the company and are incredible representatives of this company's values.

Sunrise Electric is the best, from setting up appointment to the finished product! Brett and his assistant Zack arrived on time (also a call from the office to remind you they were on their way). Brett listened to what my requirements were and then made out his work list/quote and reinerated my request to make sure he captured everything. Gave me my price for work and scheduled a start date. Work was done efficiently, double checked to make sure everything was in working order and to my satisfaction. They were very neat and clean during and after their installations. They were so good, I am having them back for another job. Thanks guys, you are the best!

I was out of town on July 4th, and our son was house sitting when lights started to flicker and AC went out. So I went to google search and this company had a great rating and reviews, so I contacted them on a holiday. They came out and diagnosed the problem, the tech Alex took the time to explain the problem to my son, and me over the phone. A leg had burnt the breaks on one side and was very dangerous. Alex and Ryan came back out to install an upgraded 200 amp power box, surge protector, and two new grounds. They were very professional, clean, competitively priced, and very informative. I've already recommended them to most of my friends family and neighbors.

George and Max with Sunrise Electric were literally fantastic to work with! George kept us in the loop every step of the way with scheduling, cost, options and technical solutions. George offered status updates throughout the day and they both stayed until the job was finished! They cleaned up, were courteous, polite, friendly and cared for our home and property. We could not be more impressed with their work and the overall experience. Thanks, George! Thanks, Max! Also, their rapport was very professional, easy and positive. I've been around contractors who curse, complain, 'mansplain' or gripe during the whole job and this was not the case with George and Max at Sunrise. We highly recommend them!

I was very impressed with how thorough Ryan was in his assessment in getting familiar with the electrical circuit of my home. He addressed my concerns and made some suggestions. I was never rushed in explaining and his addressing all concern and the safety of my system. Ryan was very professional, knowledgeable and put me at ease in understanding what I had experienced, I would not hesitate to call him for future needs. I was delighted that I had contacted Sunrise Electric, their promptness in answering the phone and making a very reasonable scheduled appointment. Sunrise Electric has been absolutely amazing from start to finish. From the office staff's friendly manners to the prompt and professional mannor in their technician's behavior they have been great.

Marvin was our technician and he identified issues several others missed with no upselling at all. His work is super clean and solid. We used Sunrise for our main panel upgrade, new main line and home run and it was all done in a day or so and we never went without power over night.

Great company, solid value for the workdone vs what is charged.

Thank you to both George and his associate for an amazing job well done. Both were extremely professional and courteous. We recently moved and did have a 4 point inspection done, 4 point inspection did not cover items that were safety issues. George did a complete inspection of our home and pointed out the must do's and upgrades to protect from electrical spikes. We went with the full upgrade. On the day they arrived to do the job I ask if the ceiling fan could support adding lights to it. He suggest a new fan with led lights, and if I could get one that day he could install that day. The attention to detail was amazing. They installed a new main panel, which was larger that the original, requiring cutting the paneling. He cut the paneling so it could be used without the need for a new piece, which given the age of our home would not have been available. The icing on the cake was, I did get the fan and the team installed same day as stated.

It started off with my call to the business was well received and handled with a great attitude by the staff and my appointment was scheduled for the following day. I received a call and text that the electrician was enroute and his name was provided. Jacob S. arrived as scheduled and had a great demeanor and attitude. He reviewed the problem I was having and looked at and inspected all possible issues that could be causing the problem, which was a GFCI circuit not working. He was very methodical and professional as he troubleshot the problem and found how a switch on my generator transfer switch in the garage was pushed in and not allowing power to get to the kitchen circuit. He also provided me an estimate for some future work I am considering. If all of Sunrise Electrical has employees like this, you will never go wrong. I cannot say enough how Jacob S. was being professional and informative as he worked and discussed what he was doing to fix the problem. A Job Well Done.

Our old hot water heater stopped working, so we decided to replace it with a tankless model. Plumber recommended Sunrise. Was pleased with the quick response & updates from their office coordinators, Liana & Natalie. The electrician, Tim, showed up as scheduled and was very thorough in inspecting the existing electrical service and explaining what would be need to meet the requirements of the new tankless unit. Tim even pointed out a issue with the electric company's service connection, so I could contact them to make the correction. He was very through and provided a written quote for the necessary work. The job was quickly scheduled. Tim arrived as planned and started work. He even effectively coordinated with the plumber and completed the electrical connections to the hot water heater. Tim went over with me work that was done and made sure the hot water was being supplied to the house. He did a very good job making the exposed electrical cables connecting the unit look good. I will definitely recommend and contact Sunrise for any future home electrical service needs. I'm very pleased with the company and it's team.

Review for Sunrise Irrigation Electric A/C
I returned from a trip to find that my house had been struck by lightning. I had no Internet, landline phone, TV and some light switches worked, some didn't. I had no hot water either. Once I got my Internet and phone restored from my bundled cable provider, I started looking for an electrician. Sunrise had really good reviews so I called them. They asked if my problem was an emergency and since I had no medical equipment that needed electricity, I said, "No." But I did explain that it was very necessary to have someone soon. Sunrise set me up with Marvin for the next morning.

Marvin called ahead of time and was on time. I told him about the hot water heater and he was able to get that on, but said he thought the timer on it might be faulty, (it was). We discovered some ceiling fans worked, but the lights attached to them did not. Both the switches and dimmers had to be replaced, but we didn't know this initially. I have an electric bed that raises and lowers and vibrates and he got under the bed and took a photo of the panel so I could get a replacement from the manufacturer. Also a track light has a transformer that has burned out. He will try getting a new one for me. Lots more lights and switches were affected and he fixed them all, inside and out. One by one, he fixed problems. We discussed getting a power surge system for the whole house so I would not have to go through this very complicated and expensive problem again and I chose to go that route.

So a couple days later Marvin came back with Nick and the two of them spent the day continuing to replace and install. They both were so patient and kind and professional. Even when things didn't work, they figured out why. Some circuits were affected, some were not and we just had to try them all. And just when we thought we had solved them all, another problem would appear, but these guys were wonderful and calmly kept fixing and all the while kept conversation light. If it had not been for Marvin and Nick, I think I would have been a basket case!

They told me they loved working for Sunrise and they loved their jobs. I knew what they were saying, because I had a job like that before I retired. I loved going to work! I cannot recommend these two men highly enough. And Marvin told me when they left that if I have any problem in the future, it will be him who comes to help me. I really liked that personal touch! Do not hesitate hiring Sunrise to help you with any electrical problems. They saved me in my time of need and did it fairly and with good cheer. I am so grateful!

I hired Sunrise Electric to get my pool heater and pool light working properly. I paid them $1,847.00 and neither of these items work. I hired Sunrise Electrical to get my pool heater and pool light working. I never mentioned any issue with the pool pump as I am reading in the invoice. I paid the amount listed in the invoice. After the electrician left, I noticed that neither item was working. I asked them to honor their warranty and return to fix the issues. They returned and I was given a quote of $1,500 to get everything working. I would like them to refund my money and return all equipment to the state it was in before I ever contacted them. I have not thrown out any old equipment.

I am placing this complaint as Dena the Sunrise GM has at this point has failed to resolve the problem (see attached details) after several requests, and hasn't followed through on getting back to me either after she spoke to the HVAC technician or the electrical technician (she just launches into a very condescending diatribe telling me about how I don't understand how surge protectors work - which I have stated 3 times to her now that I don't believe the surge protection is the issue - I believe it was the installation of the surge protector, or other work done at that time caused the surge on the house, damaging the defrost circuit board on the air handler and the thermostat. I request that the Sunrise cancel the outstanding HVAC invoice (job XXXXXXXX) for $493. I request a credit for the $59 call out charge to have the HVAC damage diagnosed. I request that Sunrise pay or replace our damaged voice controlled ecobee thermostat (retail price is $249)

I contracted with Sunrise to install ceiling fans, instal GFCI circuits and update the circuit breaker control panel. Their technician was negligent. 1. The Sunrise technician placed a screwdriver in the old circuit breaker panel to remove a dead bug. In doing so he created a four foot arc that left a mark on his forehead. My other contractor for tile was standing in the garage when this happened and witnessed it. 2. Upon removing the meter from our house, five other houses in the neighborhood lost power. Duke energy described it as a backsurge to the transformer. Duke Energy also stated your contractor did not have permission to remove the meter even though the Sunrise contractor stated he "does this all the time". 3. Due to a dispute between the Sunrise contractor and the Duke Energy Foreman there was a two day delay in restoring power to the house. Duke Foreman claims Sunrise technician was unprofessional, shouting obscenities at him and his crew and taking pictures of the Duke energy crew and vehicles, claiming they had no right to take the meter. 4. No lights, appliances nor the air conditioner were powered down properly before the Sunrise contractor removed the meter. Either this or the arc he caused at the panel earlier in the day caused the blower motor to short out on the main air conditioning unit. There was an additional three day delay in getting AC restored to the house. This caused unhealthy work conditions for contractors working on the house and more delays in getting the work done. 5. I had to pay additional money to extend my stay in a hotel and for a rental car to ensure all work was done, inspections complete, and AC repaired. Additionally, I had to take extra vacation time from work while extending my stay. 6. I had to pay another contractor to repair the drywall damage around every outlet that the Sunrise technician worked on. These were not minor dings and not fixable with a little bit of spackle. 7. Upon returning to the house two weeks later we found another problem with a GFCI outlet the Sunrise technician installed. While replacing the switch plate cover to match the rest of the covers in the house the outlet arced nearly one foot and shocked my sister. Noteworthy because my sister has a medical condition that could have been compromised severely by this unexpected jolt of electricity. Upon further examination we discovered a screw holding the switch assembly together was left un-tightened. There were scorch marks on the inside metal housing and it tripped the main circuit breaker at the panel. This switch controls the garbage disposal at the sink and fortunately had not been turned on in the time since it was installed. We now have to have a second contractor come out and check all the outlets and circuits the Sunrise technician installed as we have no confidence that the work was done carefully and correctly.
