Sunny Energy installed ~22 panels on my property for a projected 120% of my average monthly need. The salesperson was a pleasure to work with and was able to answer all my immediate questions, without being overly aggressive. After I did my own research (a must), he answered my follow ups equally well. The install was absolutely painless, and as timely as the highly regulated process would allow. A follow up "walk through" provided another welcome opportunity for questions. There were some minor discrepancies with the information provided here versus prior to the sale, but nothing that would have changed my mind. I just received my first power bill for $-8.00, for the month of May. This seems in line with their estimate of an average of $25.00 per month. Overall I was very satisfied with how Sunny Energy handled my solar install. My only complaint is not so much with Sunny Energy, but with contractors in general. It is essential that the customer thoroughly research the job prior to purchase. Much of the information required to make a truly informed decision will not be volunteered. That said, Sunny Energy stood out as one of the best.

From the beginning to the end I can say we are 100% satisfied with Sunny Energy. Their representative was our first initial point of contact and she explained the process very well. Every step was shown on a timeline that we could access 24/7 to see where we were at during the project and emails were also sent to explain the current or upcoming step. We did not question the project throughout the timeline due to how well the project was explained and how well expectations were set. No surprises. After the installation was complete, we met with a well informed representative from the company who completed a walkthrough of our new system, explained readouts, variations of readouts, what to look for so we know the system is working properly, when to call the office if not, what to expect for turnaround time if something does pop-up. Needless to say, there is a plan, all parties are organized, and willing to help. We feel 100% confident with our purchase, installation, material used, warranty help- if ever needed, maintenance of the panels, and will definitely recommend Sunny Energy to our family and friends if they are looking to purchase solar! Good people, solid project management.

01/09 I would like to share with anyone who is looking to install a solar system that my dealings with Sunny Energy have exceeded my expectations. I read a lot about good and bad experiences with other installers and finally decided to try my luck with this company. It took a while to obtain the necessary approvals but through all this time I found them to be professional, concerned and responsive in every way. Chris Mendoza who was the salesman for this company kept in touch with me and answered to all my questions along the way even after he was dealing with other sales at the same time. The installation process was impressive; everything (36 Panels) were installed in 3 hours and 45 minutes including wires, inverters and cleaning behind. It was a pleasure watching them work: quick, methodical and precise. Very happy with all this experience from the beginning until the end which was the final walk through with Michael Martinez. I was assured that I could contact them with any future concerns I may have along the way even later during the warranty part. Yes, it is a big expense but I don't think you can go wrong with this company if you are considering making this home investment.

From start to finish Sunny Energy took care of everything. John was our salesman. We had a telephone conference with him where he explained the system and the process with us. He was available throughout the process to answer questions. Sunny Energy emailed the quote that same day. We had several other companies give us estimates and explain their proposals. Sunny Energy had the best price and the best way to optimize the return of our investment. Throughout the process Sunny Energy took care of all the paperwork and permits necessary for our system. It took about 2 months from the sales meeting to installation. Two weeks after the system was up and running, Mark called and walked us through how to read and use SENSE and MY SOLAR EDGE. He sent us a copy of the Zoom session so we could review it later. We mentioned to him that we wanted the conduit in the attic or painted. They came out and did it as soon as they could. They were very pleasant about it. We decided to have it painted rather than being installed in the attic. The installers said if we changed our mind and wanted it to be put in the attic they would come back. Mark then called to check and see if we were satisfied. Last time I checked, SRP estimated that our monthly bill would be around $185.00. Usually our summer bills are in the $300 to $400 range. Needless to say we are very happy with our decision to use Sunny Energy as our solar provider.

Update- We have had Solar Energy Panels installed through Sunny Energy in 2021 and it's May 2022 and we love paying no electricity bills so far . Attached is our credit balance with APS to date . The system works great and the Sunny team is always there to help with any question or issues. It really is a life changer with them and we are so glad we chose Sunny Energy. Our favorite person is [Name of Favorite Person] at Sunny Energy who is always there to help out with everything. We researched a lot of companies and found Sunny Energy to be the very best. Our sales Consultant, [Name of Sales Consultant] was extremely honest, forthright and never tried to oversell like the salesmen from the other solar companies we contacted. The quote they provided was the cheapest that we received for the panels they recommended and the entire system. The entire process from start to finish was seamless. Didn't take more than three months. Sunny Energy took care of getting all the permits and approvals for us. We didn't have to worry about a thing. The installation was promptly done in a matter of a few hours and after that Sunny Energy took care of getting everything connected and running for us. Lastly, [Name of Trainer] provided us with an excellent training session to explain how our system works. The best thing is that it's a lifelong partnership with them and they will be there to troubleshoot in case any problems arise. Each and every person we had contact with at Sunny Energy was super friendly and extremely helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better Solar Energy Company. Truly believe they are the best in Arizona.

Sunny Energy has been an excellent company to work with right from the beginning. After talking to John, who was so kind to spend so much time answering my questions, definitely helped me make the decision to go with them. A big thank you to the designers, installers and technicians to the final walk through with Sarah and follow up with Mark, the Project Manager. If I could give them more than a 5-star rating, I would do that. My only negative comment would be on the scheduling. While 99% of the time the schedule coincided with mine, there was an incident where the technicians came earlier than the scheduled time and I wasn't ready for them. I was able to share my comments with Mark for follow up. However, this would not stop me from still giving them a 5-star rating. Sunny Energy is an outstanding company. I liked the fact they hire their own employees rather than outsourcing. The website they have allows you to follow the progress of your project. This was very important for me to have as I was out of state for two months when this project started. It allowed me to stay on top of the progress that was being made. If there were any updates or issues, emails and texts were sent by them and if for some reason I needed to speak to someone, they were always available by phone. By the time I was back in the state they had everything ready for the install. They are also a very giving company in that they contribute to charitable organizations such as Habitat for Humanity. I am very happy I went this company and looking forward to many years of saving dollars on my electric bill. A big thank you to everyone who works with Sunny Energy!

I received quotes from 5 different solar companies before choosing Sunny Energy. They weren't the most expensive or least expensive. Multiple factors went into me finally choosing Sunny Energy. A friend had initially referred me to them, and he was happy with his experience. I was impressed with my salesperson, who was very knowledgeable and responded quickly to all my emails. Several of the other companies I was considering lost interest in responding after they sent me a quote. At one point during the sales process, things got a little contentious, but the salesperson took responsibility, which meant a lot and we moved forward. After several months, I finally made my decision and chose Sunny Energy. I was quickly contacted by members of the installation team and my portal was set up. There were some unexpected hiccups along the way, but the issues and my concern were promptly addressed by the Sunny team. I guess you can tell more about a company how they respond when things go wrong rather than when everything goes right. I felt every member of the Sunny team really cared about doing the best job possible and they were all pleasant and knowledgeable in their respective duties. After the system was set up and producing, I had my final walk through with the installation team. They did a great job explaining all the components of the systems, as well as the dos and don'ts. They answered all my questions and didn't make me feel rushed even though I think we went over our allotted time. The customer service team was awesome too! There were ups and downs during the process, but after everything was completed and I had time to reflect, I am very pleased with my experience with Sunny Energy. I would certainly feel comfortable recommending them to anyone.

I am so glad to have chosen Sunny Energy! After putting my interest on the internet I started getting quotes. I cant remember if Sunny Energy called me or I reached out directly but, we were happy with the result. David was my sales consultant, and he is knowledgeable of everything we wanted to know. No pressure and the pricing, we felt was great for components and service ( I had done some research but solar can be intimidating technology). After the consultaion was finished, My wife pointed out the outstanding ComplaintsBoard.com rating Sunny Energy had and how hard that is to acheive! So, David's knowledge, pricing, 25yr warranty and the reviews we saw on ComplaintsBoard.com compelled us to call back within the hour to sign. The process went smooth, they take care of everything from financing partners and permitting all the way to completion. You can follow your project online, so you know what is happening and what to expect. Everything was completed within 80 days! If you are not familiar with solar, It can be a complicated process with permits and coordination with your energy provider. After the permitting process and design approval, the install went quick... they arrived at 7 am and were done by 11:30 am. The great part is that from what I see in the app right now, I am producing about 10% more energy than what was expected. Please understand... production will vary throughout the year due to seasons, weather and your system design. Within two weeks of operation, Sunny Energy schedules a virtual walk through of your new system and answers any questions you may have concerning the app and all your equipment. He is also very knowedgable and is dedicated to making sure you are comfortable with the operation of your new installation. From what we understand, they also will handle all warranties and system upgrades should the need arise. I would highly recommend Sunny Energy, from installation, service and warranty, they do it all in house with just one number to call!

After Install: Sunny Energy was fantastic! He explained the process without any overselling or overpromising. Any questions we've had have been answered quickly. We also had access to a website to monitor the progress of our solar throughout the process. Everyone involved has been knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We monitor my APS account, and have already seen a great reduction in our purchased energy. We highly recommend them.

3 Months In: Everything is going great. We've talked to several neighbors without solar and have been given information on previous AC bills at our current home. We've heard people paying between $600 - $700 easy with a home our size (*** sq. ft.). We are a family of five. The kids are in online college/homeschool, and I'm a stay at home mom. So ... There is no "away" option when setting our thermostat.

Bills before solar: April ($210) and May ($266 w/a few days of solar mixed in). Bills after solar: June ($127.84), July ($231), August ($247). We are looking at our largest savings in September. We may be on track for about $270. Our monthly solar payment is $221, and we know we're saving with solar. Before, we were scared of the costs for electricity we used between the peak times of 3p.m - 8p.m. After solar, we realized our panels produce the most electricity for us during those times. At first, we enjoyed APS buying (for less) our electricity during those times. Then, we decided to use our electricity for ourselves. We lowered our AC to more comfortable levels, and stopped sweating in our own home. If we left our thermostat settings the same (78 home/88 peak times), we would have even greater savings. We look forward to cooler temperature, so we can reap the rewards even more. If anyone is skeptical because of the monthly solar payment, just remember ... A car payment isn't cheap, but it costs less to get around in your own car all month (work/errands), then it would to pay for an Uber all month. It's an investment. At least, that's how we see it.
