I purchased a home from Sundial homes in ajax and sent in a form to Ronda for the shingles to be replaced because after 1 month of living there the roof was leaking. (I had a 2nd home inspection done shortly after I moved in and that's how the problem was discovered) I Waited for a reply but of course nothing was done. I called head office & they told me I must contact Ronda. I tried several attempts to reach her and left messages. I tried to call her once again after 2 weeks of waiting and finally caught her picking up the phone for once. I explained everything to her & she gave me the big "runaround". To make a long story short I hired my own roofer to get the Job done. Sundial is the worst builder in Ontario. Cheap houses and bad service should be their slogan.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Agreed, worst builder. Purchased over million dollars house in Burlington. Quality of work is very poor. All rooms out of square.
All Walls are zig-jag finish. No wall is straight. Kitchen cabinets quality worst then made China. All flooring not aligned with walls. At the time of 1.6 million home purchas we were told that this is only detached and semidetached units development only. After 2 months of closing of my house Sundial released high value townhomes at front of my house. Same street one house 1.6 million dollars and next $589k sold by Sundial. Never buy house from Sundial. Worst part other then quality is they “lie” to you.
Their decor center full with egoistic and untrained people. They refused me to buy upgrades, I was told “we don’t upgrade front door to 8’.” Guess what my next door house got 8’ front door, Same with sunroof.
Worst builder I have ever dealt with. They don't know the meaning of customer service and despite the lower level staff's assurances that they focus on quality work it is quite clear that upper management doesn't care about customers and is really only bottom line oriented. I have had issues with flooring, tiles cracking, shoddy plumbing, lack of reinforcement on structure, and now 4 years into the build there are drainage issues in my backyard. This is a one star builder at best and would probably be better suited building farm structures that require rough work than 7 figure homes. I have told everyone I know not to buy from Sundial - the only true recourse as a customer... sorry ex-customer.
Agreed they are not good, lot of deficiencies are found and they dont accept their fault. In future I will stay away from them.
In my home they did not provide exhast duct and have no sorry for it or feel shame.
