Suburnban Propane, Elko, NV. review: Price gouging!

Suburban Propane was told that when I wanted propane, I'd call for their service! Then I got a bill, for unordered propane, delivered on Dec 8, 2022 the bill was for 113.7 gallons at

$606.59 @ $5.33.5 a gallon!

$9.92 safety p&t fee

$5.46 transportation fee

Approx. a week ago, I happened to hear a truck, in the yard! They were going to deliver once again, with out being called! I told the driver not to put any propane in the tank, & he left!

About a week later I looked out my side window, & saw that my railroad tie fence was knocked over, apparent when the Suberban truck was backing into the yard. There were duel tire tracks in the soil! No other vehicles come into the yard other than for propane deliverys!

I got in contact with the ( I was told was the manager) who in short told me the driver said he hadn't hit my fence, & that I should have called the week before, there for they weren't responsible for any damages!

I told him that I was sick in bed, for 2 weeks, & that I'm 80 years old & can't lift railroad ties anymore, & that I was going to a different company, & he said we won't miss you! That's not what their ad reads, their ad says that they care!

My new propane supplier delivered their tank today, no delivery fees, no safety fees, & no tank rental fee! Suburban is $60 a year rental fee on a tank!

So, now I'm doing business wih Wells Propane!

And, from the other complaints I see on here Suburban is going to expect to charge me $79 to pump out their tank that has 17% of my propane in it, at $5.33.5 a gallon & not be reinversted for any of it! Good luck!
