As customers of 6 years, we recently put a "cancelation" to our service since we sold our house. We called on the 24th of September for our service to end and told Stream to have service turned off on the 28th of September. We closed on the house we were selling on the 25th of September. Apparently, the new home owners had gone with a different service company (which is their right and smart move) and started their service on the 25th of September. Due to the new home owners starting service on the 25th of September, Stream has decided that it is good costumer services to hit us with a hefty cancelation fee since service was canceled on the 25th of September instead of the 28th like we had requested in the first place. We have been told that they can not remove this "early cancelation fee" and are currently on hold to speak to someone higher up the ladder. If it was possible I would give this company a 0 our of 5 stars.
