Customer service and servicing.
Please do not go to this KIA dealer for servicing or to buy a vehicle! I took my Kia Soul in to be serviced for a specific concern. They kept the vehicle for 3 days and did not notify me at all! I had to call them several times just to get updates. The staff was so unprofessional. One staff even spoke to me as if I was secretly dating the representative who handled my repairs, she questioned me about him and spoke extremely harsh. The managers were disrespectful and ultra relaxed. The service supervisor by the name of "Megan" was the worst business/customer service representative that I have ever met. This dealership, which has just opened in North Augusta, SC, should actually be closed. It is an environment of unapologetically rude, business like, crass, uncultured and irresponsible, shady individuals. No matter what deal they offer you, do not buy or deal with them! I endured all of this poor customer service and emotional trauma, only to find out 4 days later that my engine is gone. They were unable to tell me sooner, because my tech called in from work. Really? I will continue to tell my story to everyone that ask me about this dealership, seeing as it is right in my back door. What a waste of a beautiful new building.
Desired outcome: There is nothing that this company can ever do for me, but to hire more professional and effecient people. Ms. Jara and Darion or Darius ( may not be correct) helped me so much and were so kind.
recall of engine (turbo)
KIA of Augusta, Gordon Highway, repaired an engine but damaged the radiator in the process. I was charged $380 for a replacement that was suppose to be brand new. I evaluated the radiator before I left the lot. I noticed the supposedly new radiator tip was broken also, and someone attempted to glue it back together. Now, either it's the old radiator or someone is lying. I literally had to argue on the phone with the service manager which was not professional. Futhermore, if there is a recall, any damages incurred during this period is the responsibility of the repairman...correct? I would appreciate your quick response to this matter.

In June 2014, an 83 year old widow wanted to purchase a vehicle to help a family member in need of transportation. On June 13, 2014, she visited Kia of Augusta on Gordon Highway. Like a sheep being lead to the shearer, she was persuaded to purchase an overpriced 2013 Nissan Versa, white, 4door sedan for $17, 463. Unbeknownst to the widow, the actual retail value of the car was approximately $12, 000. Obviously, at this point the Kia of Augusta salesperson was salivating at the prospect of a generous commission. By the end of the sales transaction, the unsuspecting widow had financed $21, 371 to purchase a car with a $12, 000 retail value. Next, the dealer persuaded the widow to use a shady out of state credit union, located in Tampa, Florida, to finance the car. Obviously, the dealer knew no local reputable financial institution would finance the dubious car purchase. The sheep was fleeced. The buyer’s good deed did not go unpunished. To say Kia of Augusta had taken advantage of an unsuspecting elderly widow would be an understatement. Kia of Augusta has no soul.

BEWARE! DON'T BUY ANY CARS FROM THESE RACIST ###! This dealership hasn't changed a bit since the last time I worked there- The Owners & Mangers often mistreat their own salesmen & customers.. They have lost more employees & sales managers than a high priced [censored] loses tricks! This racist dealership only hires whites for Administrative positions, while blacks are forced to do all the work in sales (or fixing cars)-stabbing each other in the back & lying to customers to sell cars, or they'll lose their jobs, while the racist ### & dealership owners sit back, not do any work, wrongfully terminating good employees, interrogating/harrassing new employees, & collect all the money, and not paying the good salesmen for the hard work that they do.. Most New Employees are gutted like fish & terminated before they even get their feet wet or hired full-time! This Dealership has no respect for the people that work for them, nor the customers they lie & scam into buying cars from them..
False Advertisements & Ripping off 1st Time Car Buyers

I've witnessed Sales Managers lying to customers, and selling cars that are stolen, or been in horrible car acccidents- basically selling junk cars to buyers, and falsifying their Car-Fax statements, these conmen also discriminate against black associates, and prevent new hires, who are mostly black men, from getting jobs there!?! I know what I'm talking about, because I used to work for them, and I know what they're really all about. Kia of Augusta (has changed their business name over the years to get around numerous civil lawsuits filed against them from employees, and sexual harassment charges against former Sales Manager; who got fired, nicknamed- "Cotton"), their many paid radio & TV commericals, are also full of "bull-###", they won't make a new customer a "great deal", they train their salesmen to lie their pants off, and bind you to unethical contacts, that forces the new buyers to waste their life savings! STAY AWAY FROM- Kia of Augusta!
