I am currently enrolled in Stevens Transport driving school. Some of the instructors are rude, unhelpful and abusive. You sign a contract to pay over $4, 000 to learn how to drive a truck, not to get treated like an animal. Some of the instructors don't even know what they're talking about, others expect you to know everything and refuse to help you. This school is absolutely not conducive to learning and I honestly feel like I'm being set up for failure.

Stevens Transport is a total lame duck. Depending on the Driver Manager you get, you might have an okay time with the company. However, if at any time you become unhappy with them they start bullying you around. Going Alliance is the biggest trick of them all. They show you big numbers and tell you how much AWESOME MONEY you could bring in. It's a lie. I ran nearly 3000 miles a week, but because of the way my loads were, I was never able to submit the miles together because then I would owe for 2 lease payments. The company is a joke and preys on desperate people.
If you ever leave their company, especially before the "financial assistance" for the school is paid back, be ready to be threatened with an unreasonable repayment plan from Will Rush and Associates along with having your credit jacked up. My suggestion, if you're already in this situation, contact the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. You have to be given a repayment plan that fits your budget, regardless of what it is. If Will Rush refuses it, thats on them, not you and they can't effect your credit for it.
