Stater Bros Markets review: cashier customer service

On Wednesday 11-27-19, at 6:15am, the day before Thanksgiving, Cashier Ann S. greeted me with "Hello, how are you?" I responded, "I'm good, how are you?", of which she responded with silence or ignoring me. I know she heard me I was facing her, looking right at her. I handed her a $100 bill to pay for my items for which she immediately responded that I would have to wait because the store had not had enough customers at that time in the morning, and she was unable to provide me with change. I responded with "ok" because it was what I brought to pay for my items, and I needed the items for Thanksgiving. She then responded that maybe she does have change because she forgot that a guy had paid for something prior. She then, with a rude attitude, as she was collecting my change, stated that I was lucky because she happened to have the change, though she usually doesn't. Her words and tone implied that I would have had to stand to the side and wait for her register to accumulate change, if she had not had it at the time. I have previously worked as a cashier for a grocery store, and know that if there were not enough change in my register, at any time of day, to give a customer their change, I was to immediately notify my manager and they would come collect any large bills available in my register and go get change out of the safe, so that I could successfully render the customer their exact change. Under the circumstance of being a paying customer and having legal tender, there is no way a cashier should communicate that I would be denied the ability to purchase products, without cause. My only assumption is that she wanted to find a reason to be rude to make me feel uncomfortable because she didn't like the way I looked. I was very polite and respectful, and broke no laws, I disturbed no one in any way that I can conceive, except by my mere existence and my audacity to choose to walk into a business and spend my money with them. Her mission was accomplished, I will never spend my money there again, she will never have to see or encounter me, she wins, she can have the store for whom she approves worthy, my peace is more important. The only reason I went here is because of my limited timeframe and because Walmart grocery ran out of 2 items I needed. I have gone to the Albertsons near me, I have used Walmart free grocery pick up multiple times, and have used Vons delivery service and all of the associates at these places have never treated me with such hostility. In the future I will only spend my money at those locations and NEVER again at this Stater Bros, no matter how much out of my way I have to go.
