On September 5 2022 I was in the parking lot of Baptist Hardin hospital looking for a place to park. I was on my handsfree phone telling my husband I had arrived when the SUV in front of me stopped and started backing up on me. My husband heard me lay on my horn constant, and yell they are not stopping at least three times. The person (Susan) had hit me. She was a very nice lady and was very apologetic. She gave me her insurance information but said she did not need mine. I got her insurance card, her name and number and we went our ways as we both had people in the hospital. Again she took full responsibility at the time and seemed to be very genuine. I called her insurance company (Statefarm) and submitted the claim. I followed this up with about three phone calls in the next two weeks and was told they could not get a hold of susan for her statement. Claim # 17-38T26OQ When statefarm did reach out to us they denied my claim saying we had lied. Attached letter is included. I believe Statefarm has coerced Susan into lying about what happen. Shame on Statefarm, their letter states their investigation found me to be at fault. I would like to know just what their investigation consisted of as its hard to find proof of a lie. It is very upsetting to me that this company would send such a letter indicating a investigation into a lie they perpetrated. Also when my husband told Garrett with statefarm about the open phone line when the accident happened and that he heard me yelling stop multiple times Garrett said that was inadmissible.
