Star Furniture Houston, Texas review: Chair/customer service

I purchased a sofa/chair/rug. When the furniture was delivered I was shocked to see it all together. The salesman I had was not very helpful in helping me pick out items. I was looking to fill a room with something nice and beautiful. I now have something you would find in a garage sale. The chair I picked out was a print but the salesman didn't tell me how bold that print was going to be in the chair. Then he picked out a rug that was also a print, saying it was a calming print. I called about this and talked to a woman that said I could return the chair/rug for a restocking fee. When I went back to the store and met with the decorator (whom I didn't know that they had) she was so helpful in helping pick out a different chair and rug that would go with my sofa. When we got to the paper work the update was not in the computer as I was told it would be. Therefore, we called and another women said she would research the file and call me back. When she called be back she said I could not return anything. That was not what I was told before. I then talked with a "manager" who was polite but in a arrogant way. She was adamite that star was not going to do anything about my purchase. I even asked if I would pay could I get the chair recovered and she said no. I also asked if they would at least take the rug back, again she said no. My finial words was I guess i'm stuck with this mismatched furniture if star is not willing to work with me and she said "is there anything else I can help you with". I said you haven't help me yet why ask that. Oh by the way the chair is not as comfortable as the salesman selling the chair said it was.
