This business is an auction house. Items for sale are displayed for inspection prior to the auction. However, when a particular item I was interested was placed up on the podeum for sale, before the bidding could begin the owner stopped the auctioneer and stated that this item was "too good" to sell tonight and would be available for the auction the next week when they were featuring mostly antiques instead of the usual consignment items, household goods, furniture and tools. I waited for almost 5 hours for this item and then it was taken off the floor. Seems like a bait and switch tactic. Soured me on this company. I have never witnessed this kind of maneuver before or since.

The owners are rude and very unwilling to do the right thing. We would drive from Missouri to this auction but will not return. I questioned a transaction and the owners wife slammed the door of the office during the auction, a young man working there was very disrespectful, and the auctioneer finished the situation by being rude. I am hearing impaired and they did not care.

I took a truck load of good household items, That should have brought $750-1000, based upon my prior experinence. They apparently mix up the records and I received a check for $1240. They first claimed that was all the items brought. When I told them that there were boxes of items and the receipt listed only 8 items, they said they were sold as box lots. The only problem with that was there were no box lots listed and the number of boxes far exceeded the number of items listed. I have given them information on how they can track who got my money and I am waiting to hear back, but they have not been responsive and I am not optomistic. I would say they are careless at best.

I Tried selling there once, Brought a truck load of Very Nice antiques there, was mailed a check for penny's, PENNY'S YES (my check was for approx 19.00), i should have gotten approx. 250.00 to 350.00 for all this stuff, Turns out all my things were on a table that was dead last for the night when everyone was gone and they had to give stuff away, This happened 2 weeks in a row, which they did, gave it all away, Darren (Owner) KNOWS that my stuff was worth more, but didn't matter i guess, i entrusted him to make me money for fair value on my stuff and was let down, i have never again brought anything there to sell nor will i ever.

That place sucks I took in a whole truckload of nice some new items still in the box and the auctioneer asked me if I had a rummage sale gone wrong, I loaded everything back up and have never been back, Totally unprofessional . I saw things there that I wouldn't even put in a yard sale. I take everything now to Bud's Auction Barn in Johnston City, they are great.
