SA Home Loans insurance

logged a claim with SA homeloans insurance for a broken airconditioner.after much debate i was informed that they will not repair/replace the unit, as the unit is no longer in production.instead they offer me a partial payment for the aircon.note that the quotation from sa homeloans to replace the unit is R5000 more than the amount to be payed.i do not have insurance to cover a PARTIAL amount if something needs to be repaired/replaced.absolute daylight robbery

SA Home Loans house destroyed by a tornado

My house was destroyed by a Tornado on the 30 December 2017, I logged a claim on the 2nd of January 2018. my claim was assigned to Irene Dreyer claim number 4274786, an assessor came and submitted his report to the insurance. a couple of days later the insurance offered me money that was too little to fix my house. I rejected the money and requested that they send a building contractor to come fix the house, since then they have been requesting quotations after quotations, they have been reviewing these quotation for 5 days now and in the meanwhile I am staying in a house with no roof. it has been raining for the past few days and my house is a mess.
I pay my bond and insurance every month without fail, and yet when its time for the insurance to play their part and all you get is a slap in a face.

SA Home Loans claim taking long to be attended to

Good day,

I have lodged a claim about with your company three week ago. The claim relates to a roof leakage which I have been experiencing for some time. I was told the an assessor and contractor in the area will be assigned to assist me. But to date I have not received any contact.

My Claim no. 4271144 and to date I have not heard from anyone. I have made two or three follow-up calls but I am not getting any joy. Each time the I call am told that they will prioritize it but to no avail.

With Gauteng experiencing constant rain the situation of our roof is getting worse.

I would appreciate it if you could address the issue.

SA Home Loans informing me on the 14th of outstanding payment.

This is the email I sent to SA Homeloans: Ref No: 4742599

Something just does not make sense to me.

Please see attached document.

Firstly according to a email received on the 19 July 2017 from Thembelihle Nkwanyana. We were only R3 084, 77 outstanding on our payments.

So correct me if I'm wrong but then I am currently R15 403, 30 outstanding / behind on payment. Plus the end of this months payment that is due that is R12 400.00. That comes to a total of R27 803.30 for the end of this month.

Secondly - On the 25/08/2017 at about 06:21 I received a confirmation letter from Reanne King stating that she received the documents of fiancé that passed, but NOWHERE ANYONE TOLD ME that I have to keep paying the monthly instalments. Absolutely NO ONE even warned me. Why now on the 14/09/2017 I was informed all of a sudden? And I contacted SA Home loans to find out, you did not even try to contact me and ask or tell me about paying the monthly instalments.

WHY WAS I ONLY INFORMED TODAY? Why were I not informed when I informed you about the passing of my fiancé?

I am wont be able to pay the full amount of the instalment, because I AM SINGLE NOW AND DONT HAVE A EXTRA PAYSLIP TO count on. We rented out the house in April to help with paying the bond and now today again I was informed that I will not be receiving the full amount on the rent money, because half of that rent is going into trust up until my fiancés stuff is sorted out.

Then I need to pay the water & lights account. Pay my car of R5000, my rent of R3200. My petrol of R4000, my 3 boys R5000, food R4000, my policies of R3000. My other small debt of R5000.

Which comes to a total of R29 200 that I have to pay every month. O and guess what? I only get paid R25000 a month.

So can you please be so kind as to explain to me how I should go about paying all of the above, pay the bond and not feel like putting a end to this ridiculous situation I'm in, please.

I beg of you to give me a plan of action on how to go about getting all of the above paid and so forth and still live...

SA Home Loans sold dreams and given false hope just so I can sign up

I've just been taking advantage of because I am a bread winner and trying to look after my family. I've just been killed by sahl and joshila desai inc. Because I have so much on my plate. I decided to switch my home loan from standrad bank to sahl. Sahl promised a cash payout of r86000 on the condition of the value of my house. I was approved for r500 000. All the documentation with sahl and joshila desai inc showed a cash payout of r86000

After a 3 month long process. I received a cash payout of r51674.47 today. The intention was to pay off my one loan with the cash payout as I have so much on my plate. When I asked what happened to the rest of the money I get no reply that makes sense to me

When I switched from std to sahl, I was not looking for pocket money. I was looking to settle my one loan so I do not drown as much. I was sold a dream by sahl and given false hope just so I can switch! Now the cash payout has changed completely! So sahl is fraud, they sold me a dream so I can sign up with them

I've just been killed by sahl and joshila desai inc. They ruined my life as i'll be paying r1700 more! Why? Why would I do that to myself when I am battling so much already? Why would I drown myself like that! I know i've been desparate for money but you cannot take advantage of people like that.

Every time the Repo Rate change to a down I must first phone SA Home Loans before they change my monthly installment and everytime they do have this mega excuse. How many Home Owners do they cheat. If they stay on the same monthly installment for a month I am sure they make a few bucks illegaly. The repo rate came down in the middle of September 2010 but...
