Soul Surgery Rehabilitation / Silkworth Detox review: Rehab facility

On 4/14/20 I was admited to Silkworth Detox in Scottsdale AZ. I had been referred there by Soul Surgery Rehab Facility, of Scottsdale AZ. I had checked in with my property that was taken and put away, "in a safe place". My property was to be searched for any and all things that may not be permitted at the facility, understandably. When I first arrived at the detox a "BHT" behavior health tech, asked if I would like to keep my braclett in a safe? I advised her I wanted to keep it with me if I could. She stated of course, I then asked if I should get my other jewelry from my purse and she stated I did not have to that my property was perfectly safe. I proceeded to take my Dimond earrings out of my purse and show her. She said that's fine but I will need your cell phone. She then placed that in a small plastic container. I was then taken and strip searched and dressed in scrubs. A BHT then walked me over to the nurses office. I requested to smoke a cigarette, the BHT advised me that was fine and got one of my 2 packs of cigarettes and stated she was to return to her office and if I needed anything she was right by the back door. I proceeded to patio area and smoked. As I returned to nurses station I was asked a number of medical questions. I had voluntarily admitted myself for treatment and was as honest and upfront as I could possibly be. I provided personal information I would normally be fearful to tell someone. As in why I was there what made me seek help, what my vises are and or have been in the past. I was then given some medication to help me sleep. I went back to my room and went to sleep. As I woke up the next day I went to get some food and a drink use the restroom and smoke. I returned to the nurses station where I was given a cocktail of pills, to help me sleep. As I returned to my room, I fell into a deep sleep. I awoke the following day. As this seemed to be the pattern, I felt more and more discombobulated and foggy to say the least, at this time I was advised to go to nurses station were it was requested that I sign a number of squares on a tablet. As I signed the tablet the BHT would advise. That's for us to give you meds , that's just says we logged your property, that's that's this or that. I can not recall every item she stated. The next 2 days played out just as the forst few had. On 4/20/22 I awoke and requested to smoke and was very sternly advised I would have to wait that the BHT's were busy. To give them 15 min, I then returned to my room. After I felt that it had been well over 15 min I went back out and asked again to go smoke. One of the BHT stated,"we are only required to take you out every 2 hours." Mind you I just woke up and had been asleep all day. I then went to the nurses station and proceeded to request to go smoke. There I was rudly advised, "you don't even have any more cigarettes". I said excuse me, I came in with 2 packs. I been asleep and only smoked 2 maybe 3 cigarettes a day. Another BHT come down the hallway and stated, "I'm gonna give you your shoes and your phone and you can use the front door if ypu don't like it, and your property is not leaving for 24 hours! I am a long time smoker and was not going to stay there and not smoke. When I advised the staff that I had 2 packs of cigarettes when I came in, the nurse yelled out from her office, "how would you know you were high on drugs when you came in". I was not in the right state of mind to argue and definantly not to be walking down the street over 15 miles from my home with a dead cell phone. I walked to the closest store were they allowed me to charge my phone and call a friend to come pick me up. On 4/22/22 I went to pick up the my property I was given the address to the detox. Once I arrived there I was advised that my property was taken to the rehab facility. I couldn't beleive how I had been treated. I started to log everything. I made several calls to the admittance department and the only number I had to contact the clinic. as I was in a Uber and had to pay to go track my property down at the rehab facility. Once I arrived and a number of bag had been brought out to me, I proceeded to open them and make sure my stuff was all there. I was able to tell my stuff was not were I had put it and looked ransacked. After much review of ny property I advised the clinic that a number of my things was not in my bags. She proceeded to call the detox. Who advised her the only thing they had were my cigarettes 1 unopened pack and and half of another. She then reached in her desk and grabbed 2 packs and said oh here your smokes are at detox. Remember that's what started all this when I was advised I didn't have any more cigarettes. I started to think why would someone tell me I had no more smokes when I did? What did those staff members have to gain by lying. Not only did I ask the clinic to contact me once my stuff was located but I wanted to speak to a manager. No one ever contacted me. Not only does the rehab provide admittance ligature it clearly states. All property will be gone thru in the presence of the client. So I called and requested any and all docs that I signed with them. I received some screen shots of seemed to be a log of my property after they stole my things. Also I was asked st thr time I checked in if I had any conditions, I advised I was asthmatic, but I carried a inhaler w me in my purse. The bHT requested I show her so I did. That been removed along w my brand new chi flat iron and hair blow dryer. One of my dimond earrings, several pieces if make up my gel pens blue tooth speaker one pair of my air maxes and a tote. I still have not been contacted by the owner and or a manager. The only staff that made a call to me was the 3 individuals that I beleive to have stolen my things. I also requested thr documents I had signed along w documentation stating I had to leave my stuff for 24 hours. No we're does it say that. This company failed to provide the services they state they are licensed to. Rather put my safety danger, then bullied me and disrespected me as a person. Then violated my hippa rights. No one will even contact me. I. Filing a pice report as well.
