I am filing this complaint against Snapchat because of a serious account issue that has still not been resolved despite repeated contact, full explanations, screenshots, and multiple follow-ups.
I have been trying to change the email address connected to my Snapchat account, but the system keeps blocking me with messages such as "too many attempts" or similar restrictions. I understand that Snapchat may use automated security systems, but the real problem is what happened after I contacted support.
I reached out to Snapchat support politely and respectfully. I explained the problem in detail, clarified that I am the legitimate account owner, described the email issue clearly, and provided screenshots as evidence. Instead of receiving meaningful assistance, I only received repeated generic responses. Eventually, Snapchat told me they were unable to provide any further assistance and that they would not respond any further to the conversation.
This is what makes the situation unacceptable. If the restriction is automatic, then there should be a proper manual review process when a real user contacts support, explains the case, and provides evidence. Instead, Snapchat closed the conversation without resolving the problem.
This is no longer just a technical issue. It is a clear customer support failure. A company of Snapchat’s size should not rely only on automated systems while refusing to provide real human assistance when those systems incorrectly block a legitimate user.

I also escalated the matter through public reviews and complaint channels because Snapchat left me with no practical way to resolve the issue directly.
Snapchat’s support system appears rigid, repetitive, and ineffective when a case requires human judgment. Instead of reviewing the facts and fixing the issue, they simply ended the conversation. This creates frustration, wastes time, and damages user trust.
I am not asking for anything unreasonable. I only want Snapchat to manually review my case, remove the restriction that is preventing me from changing my account email, and provide real support instead of automated refusals and closed tickets.
A legitimate user should not be forced into endless explanations, screenshots, and public complaints just to request basic account help. Snapchat should improve its support process and offer actual human review for cases like this.
