This is not as much a complaint as a last effort to get useful info and follow through. This situation stems from local rep Changing a few times, a move across country, an employment break due to an estate that became my legal responsibility to inventory and close out, and an unauthorized payment burning the money I left aside to fund fuel to a new job to...

Snap-on Credit Snap on credit is stating that I owe them money when I have never done business with them

Snap on credit is stating that I owe them money when I have never done business with them. They state that I owe them money and this is interfering with my ability to obtain credit for a home mortgage. It is costing me real money in higher interest payments and delays closing on a home. They really dont care who they hurt and should not have a business license.

I voluntarily gave up my tools September 2nd and was told that I would be contacted by snapon shortly, it's now November 2nd and still nothing. snapon still charges me every week even though I have no tools from them. I would like either my tools returned or the value of them deducted from my ***.

Snap-on Credit I had purchased some tools through Snap-on

I had purchased some tools through Snap-on. On receipt of the tools I discovered they were not suitable for my purposes. I contacted the representative who sold me the tools and told him I wanted to return them. He said that was okay and that he would be by to collect the tools. He did not pick up the tools for several months. Now Snap-on is claiming the tools were not returned in time and are attempting to charge me 60% of the value of the tools I no longer have and did not want.

Snap-on Credit Bought a scan tool for work on credit then later got out of the mechanics business due to age and declining health

Bought a scan tool for work on credit then later got out of the mechanics business due to age and declining health. Paid for the tool for 1 year at 550 a month. I was told if I turned in the tool would be given fair market value. I still owed 8k. They then only gave me *** which was not fair market value because they turned around and sold it to someone I knew for 10k. So it seems 10k was fair market value. They made more off me turning it in and reselling it then when sold as knew. And still reporting full 8k to my credit which I just found out about.

My account fell into delinquent status so, the snap on rep for the *** area came on my day off and took my toolbox with all my tools in it. My toolbox was paid off an I had over thirteen thousand dollars of matco tools in my box as well as about ten thousand dollars worth of paid off snap on tools. I never received a *** credit or anything. Just letters stating that I still owe them three thousand dollars. But they have said nothing about taking my toolbox and all of my tools that were paid off. I never gave the snap on rep *** to take my toolbox an tool cart

Tool box was repossessed without notice. I was put on automatic payments and was told my account was current. I have bank statements showing I paid $260 on 3/18, $65 on 4/10, $65 on 4/17, $65 on 4/24. On 4/27, my scheduled day off, a tool dealer came to the shop and repossessed all of my tools, including tools purchased from other dealers. I received no notification from snap on credit or the tool dealer indicating I was behind at all on payments. The April dates listed above are automatic payments. When I tried to contact the tool dealer, they blocked my number. They told my employer I was trying to sell my tools, I was not. Snap on credit claimed I was past due but I have no communication from them saying I need to make a payment. The stories from both snap on credit and the tool dealer as to why the tools were repossessed do not line up at all. And when I try to resolve the issue, I get sent to person after person with different stories and no answers.

I had an open account with snap-on credit for a tool box i had purchased. All payments were made on time and some even mknths before hand. It was paid off in full over a month ago. Yet it is still not off my credit report and today i got hit for almost 80 points. Im in the process of trying to buy a house for my family and this completely screwed my credit score up to where that is not possible now. The account shows my balance still increasing monthly. I want this resolved and my credit rating returned. If this is not taken care of i will have no choice but to take legal action. This is not only effecting me personally. But it is making my family's life harder now that we cant purchase a home we were looking at. Snap-on credit needs to get there stuff in line and take care of buisness. Im not very pleased with Snap-on and i will no longer be purchasing any of there products.

Snap-on Credit I have been disputing this fraudulent item since it appeared on my credit report

I have been disputing this fraudulent item since it appeared on my credit report. I never once have opened a line of credit with snap on as I do not have a need to or work with any tools. I dispute it with all three credit bureaus constantly and their response is that the information has been verified as correct but have yet to provide me with proof that this account is mine or verify my signature on said paperwork. This account was opened fraudulently and my desired outcome would be that it get removed from my credit report immediately before I take legal action against snap-on credit llc. I have also filed a complaint with the

Snap-on Credit The reason I am contacting you is because I currently am constantly being harassed by snap-on credit llc

The reason I am contacting you is because I currently am constantly being harassed by snap-on credit llc. I have an outstanding balance in which I keep instructing them to send to collections but instead they are continuously collecting interest and refusing to send it to collections and making it in every way difficult for me. This company is very well known for telling their customers one thing but following through with another. This business unfortunately needs to handle matters in a more efficient way and if you're able to provide assistance with this it would be greatly appreciated. I am just looking to resolve this matter and have it sent to collections to begin the payment process. I do not wish to be harassed by Snap-On anymore

During the height of the Covid pandemic, Snap On representatives were going around telling technicians that they could defer their payments on their credit accounts by 90 days if they signed a new agreement. Most of the technicians were standing around not doing anything hence not making any money. Get on the truck and the rep says you have to make an additional credit purchase to refinance your agreement as REQUIRED TERMS to have payments deferred for 90 days. First of which is shady and on the contracts they only show you the form you sign on top and hide the finance charge and loan term which turns out is 60 months after the agreement is signed. What choice did I have? As a flat rate tech, I was making hardly any money and had to defer payments on my other bills also. They doubled my loan term and increased my APR by 3% effectively doubling my interest owed. Snap On is predatory and the reps are always in your face at the shop begging you to buy something. Something needs to change.

Snap-on Credit I was buying a new tool box from my snap on dealer in Council Bluffs Iowa but ended up returning it for being defective

I was buying a new tool box from my snap on dealer in Council Bluffs Iowa but ended up returning it for being defective. I put $3256.40 down on the box. When i cleaned the box the paint would come off of it.The first time this happened I was told there is a problem with the paint and they replaced the box. The next one did the same thing. I was then told it was just some over sprayed paint. They said to just wipe it down, put wax on it, and that will take care of the problem. We did that and it did not fix the problem. Paint was still coming off the box when I cleaned it off. This is why I returned the box. I have bought two snap on boxes over the years and never had this happen when I cleaned them. There is another technician where i work with the same color of box i ordered. I did the same thing to clean his box and the paint did not come off. Clearly there is a problem with the paint on the box. If the paint did not come off the box I would have kept it. They picked the box up on 04/08 and i am still waiting for them to return my money. I have called them multiple times but i keep getting the runaround.

Snap-on Credit I have bought a tool box from a authorized Snapon-Dealer

I have bought a tool box from a authorized Snapon-Dealer. The Dealer did not make it clear or explain that I was financing the box. I was told the *** payment was $6835.30and I would pay him $49.53 a week ($198.12) month, and the total AFTER signing and getting paperwork later in the mail was $6935.30. There was no explanation that I was paying interest, the loan was not through him but Snap-on Credit, and the signatures he asked for me were on his computer and I wasnt given a chance to read anything (nor told it was a contract outside of his truck). There are Finance charges of $155.93 I was not told about, security Fee of $110.30, and no printed contract was given. I was simply told basic information to get me to sign, If I would've know the contract I would have made a different decision. When I asked the dealer for payment information and the contract I got a picture of his screen. I was sold the box on the basis of them running a "deal" and if I bought a box along with 30 other people we were entered to win $10,000. After buying it I have heard nothing and the other techs I know from various shops are experiencing the same issues. I have been paying $100 a week instead of the agreed $49.53 a week, and my *** has barely gone down. This practice of having people sign and buy something with out telling them the WHOLE contract, explaining it, and showing any charges and information relevant to the purchase and blatantly lying to make a sale is not ok. by the end of this contract I will have paid alomost double what I was told I would be paying. I have spent thousands with this company and they fail to care when it comes to these issues.
