I gotta say, I'm really diggin' smtp2go. We added it to our app to talk to our peeps and it's been smooth sailin' ever since. The price is totally fair and the service is top-notch. Can't recommend it enough!
Disappointing Experience with Smtp2go: Blocked Account for Test Emails
I was pretty disappointed with Smtp2go. I signed up for their free account about a month ago, and it took me a while to figure out how to connect to the SMTP and start sending test emails. But just when I thought I had it all figured out, they went and blocked my account! Can you believe it? And the reason they gave was that I had too many hard bounces. What a load of nonsense!
I mean, all I did was send a few test emails to my own email addresses and a couple of fake ones, just to see if their platform would show me the bounces. And apparently that was enough to get me blocked. I don't know what kind of system they're running over there, but it sure doesn't seem very user-friendly to me.
Overall, I would say that my experience with Smtp2go was pretty frustrating. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone who's looking for a reliable and easy-to-use email service. If you're thinking about signing up with them, my advice would be to think twice and do your research first. There are probably better options out there that won't give you as much trouble.
