The crew that came out to fix the roof did a very nice job and finished in a timely manner. They were professional and efficient, getting the job done quickly and without any issues. Skye Builders were so very kind to squeeze me into their busy schedule and came to my house to fix damages to my roof due to rain and very strong winds. They took pictures of the damages before and after they've repaired my roof and showed me the pictures. This was an emergency since it was going to rain again. My mind is so at ease knowing that my roof was repaired. I do recommend Skye Builders to anyone and everyone. Thank you to both *** and the young man who came and repaired my roof.

The owners were great. The workers wasn't. They damaged my gate in the backyard due to debris falling down. They cracked my vent pipe from my kitchen by pushing the pipe down and then I had to call them back because they never stuck it back in the roof vent. They had to come back to clean up debris they left in the attic. Told them to save the hole from the whirly bird so they could put it back but they replaced the board with *** and had to recut the hole which was square not a circle. They put nails through the ***'s and they were showing from the ground so I had to tell them every nail to pull up which splintered the wood. They workers didnt speak good English if any. It took over 6 months for the claim to go through.

I can honestly say, without hesitation, that I would highly recommend Skye Builders for your roof replacement. Jerry arrived for the estimate on time, walked me through every detail of what was involved. The materials used were of the highest quality. The crew was very professional, they started, finished, and cleaned, as promised. I’m very happy with my roof, the craftsmanship, and the attention to detail was superb. The roof vent looks awesome, they painted my vent pipes to match the roof, and the drip edge was installed flawlessly. Skye builders is a company of indisputable probity.

We have read the reviews of this roofer, and they are for the most part very positive. But for two of the reviewers, their experience was miserable. We fall into that category also. It's almost as if the roofer cannot be consistent with how he deals with all of his customers. The work done to replace our roof was very good...so far. Our problems stemmed from lack of communication, which the roofer denies. Our phone messages during the work process were not returned. The roof was replaced in mid-March, just when the COVID-19 was coming into it's own. We weren't advised when the workers would start. They just showed up. Although the roofer denies it. We weren't advised when the work would end either. And the estimate given to our insurer which was accepted, was not what the builder claimed in the end, which was several thousand dollars more. All this because he failed to use the proper electricians to remove and reinstall the solar panels belonging to APS. Our APS solar panel program would allow us one free removal/reinstall for roofing work. It was fully explained to the builder by my husband which electrician that APS approves to use to avoid any further charges. The roofer told us not to worry, that he would take care of it. But instead, he used another company who then charged a lot of money for their service. It put us and our insurer into a no-win situation. As I said earlier, the new roof looks very well done so far. If you should use this roofer however, be very careful to keep careful notes regarding communications.

Me and my partner, Froeun mom, made a deal with Skye Builders to fix our property on 8/26 as stated in our insurance agreement. The scope of work included the roof and the main interior of the property, but only the roof got done. The job was done around October . We paid Skye Builders *** bucks for their services. The invoice came to a total of 12, ***, covering all the work mentioned in the insurance agreement. We complained to the Registrar of Contractors about the unfinished work, and they told us that Skye Builders doesn't have the right license to complete the rest of the job as per the insurance agreement. On top of that, they canceled our solar energy warranty, which means we can't get our solar equipment installed or reinstalled by another solar company. We had already told them which solar company we were working with.

I hired Skye Builders to fix some parts of my house like the roof and the inside stuff. I paid them $3651.50 on 12/21 when I signed the deal and then $3150.64 on 1/12/22 when their workers started fixing the outside roof. I still owe them $500, which I gotta pay when they finish the job. But guess what? Skye Builders never finished the work we agreed on. They left me hanging when I kept telling them about the missing tiles on the garage roof. Those tiles were needed for the workers to get to the second floor. I told them on 1/22/22 that the tiles were missing, but they didn't come back to fix it until 2/18, after I called and texted them a bunch of times. Now, there's a problem with the roof where they did the repairs, and I tried reaching out to them, but they haven't responded. Skye Builders is supposed to guarantee their work and reply to me. They never gave me a detailed breakdown of the contract, and I think they charged me too much for what they actually did. It's disappointing because they're my neighbors, and I thought they would be more responsive and responsible for their work.

In late October , I hired Skye Builders (), located at ***, to replace my shingled roof. The *** roofers didn't install the ridge singles right. *** checked the ridge and agreed, so they made the roofers put the ridge shingles back. Even after the ridge shingles were put back, I still wasn't sure if it was done right. So, I told *** that I wouldn't pay the final amount until another roofing company could inspect the work. *** didn't complain or show any unhappiness about me wanting another roofing company to inspect the roof. But, *** put a mechanic lien on my property and demanded final payment for the roof installation, asking for more money than they actually deserved for the roofing project. I got the roof inspected by another roofing company, and they found a few small issues with the installation: the last ridge shingle on each ridge run needed more nails, and a section of the drip edge was missing and needed to be installed. I tried contacting *** through email and phone to resolve this issue, but *** hasn't responded. I want *** to fix these small issues with the roof and remove the mechanic lien before I pay the final amount to .

11/20 Storm damagd roof. Week of 1/6 Skye Builders replacd entir roof. 9/15 snt txt to *** (ownr of Skye Builders) about shingls stickin up n that I could smel the rainwtr in my 3rd bedroom only. Nvr herd back from Skye Builders. 7/25 11:30AM Xtremely hard rainstorm, 3 leaks in my 3rd bedroom. 7/25 12:27PM snt txt to *** (ownr of Skye Builders), he said to txt his wife on her cell (which is the office phone number). 7/25 No answer from the wifes number. 7/27 Still no call back or txt, so I calld his wifes number she said someone would be by as soon as they could put me on the schedule, but they would only be fixin the outside n they would contact me when they could repair the inside ceiling n replac the insulation (placed in new, March). 7/29 Still no call back or txt as to when they were comin, so I txted the wifes cell as I was worried that it was gonna rain again. She said someone would be by on that day. 7/29 Skye Builders roof repair person came. He said the air conditionin unit had not been seal when placed on the roof. I explained that was the A/C unit on the roof when Sky Builders replacd the roof n the A/C unit had not been touchd by anyone else since the roof was replacd. The repair man also implyd that some of the old wires were an electrical hazard n implyd they had somethin to do with the leak. I said Id have my A/C person out to look at it, but did not see how wires from the unit that didnt go into the roof had anything to do with the leak. Sky Builders repair person did then seal the A/C unit n the leak has not occurrd again. This same day Sky Builders repair person reiteratd that the office would put me on the schedule to have the inside ceiling n insulation repaird/replacd. 10/26 Found out from a neighbor on my street that he just had a roof leak n that *** from Skye Builders was comin out that day to look at it.

The crew that came to do my roof did a really bad job. The shingles weren't lined up properly with the house's fascia on the front side. They broke the A/C drain pipe and didn't put the mesh back on a part of the roof to keep birds out. They also left some shingles hanging off the side of the roof. The drip edge is bent in some places. They parked their dump truck in my driveway and it leaked oil, making a big mess. I had to clean it up myself. They even left beer cans behind, which shows how unprofessional they are. After they finished, I told the crew members what needed to be fixed, and they said they would let *** know, but I never heard back from anyone. Months later, *** came to collect the final payment and we talked about the repairs that still needed to be done. He said he needed to be paid first before he could start the repairs, which I think he just made up to get paid. But I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. I told him many times that I needed the issues resolved, and he promised he would take care of it. He sent me a text with a list of the repairs that needed to be done because I asked for everything in writing. On 05/19, he sent a guy over, but the guy seemed confused and didn't know what repairs were needed because no one had told him. I had to explain everything that needed to be fixed. He used a hammer to try to make the shingles line up properly with the fascia, but he ended up damaging them and just put some colored caulking on the damaged shingles. I told him it wasn't fixed and he needed to come back. He admitted that he didn't do it the right way and said he would come back after talking to ***. The guy actually caused more damage. I called *** many times while the guy was here, sent him pictures, but he never returned my calls. He only replied to one of my texts, and I haven't heard back from him since. I really need to get this resolved as soon as possible.
