I ordered above ground pool steps and received a pair of socks from Skoist.com. The order was placed on July 13 and I was emailed a receipt and an order number. I was sent a tracking number on July 15 and have been following it closely. It originated in China, but then went to Los Angelos and eventually to my home address. I got the package yesterday. It ended up being a pair of socks. I have tried calling and emailing, but have receive no answer.
Desired outcome: I would like my money refunded.
FRAUD ALERT! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM SKOIST.
I received a pair of socks from China instead of the 25 lbs of pool chlorine tablets I ordered for $82.68. SKOIST still has not corrected the problem.
They clearly do this INTENTIONALLY AND MALICIOUSLY on a regular basis: they take your money for an order, and then send a pair of worthless socks instead of what you ordered. Even IF they eventually refund your money, they still are committing FRAUD by intentionally collecting money for goods they know they will never send. During the time they take to "resolve" your issue, they are banking interest on the money they collect from you. Multiply this by the millions of others victims, and by the transactions happening every day, and you see how they make their money.
PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD. SHUT DOWN SKOIST.
I had ordered sta-rite s8m150 pool filters my tracking number AQ258050023CN was received but is the wrong order. I ordered; https://www.skoist.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=1467.
