simply solar is a good company but they didn't wanna talk about the basics without me giving them all my personal deets. they didn't seem to care about my privacy at all.

stay away from simply solar! they don't follow their warranty after you buy their panels. they're not honest or trustworthy.

I talked to Simply Solar a while back before we got our panels. They gave me a quote that was just right for our budget and I was happy with it. It took about 6 months before we decided to go for it, but they still honored the quote. Everything went pretty smoothly, except for one scheduling delay. The guys who worked on the roof did a really good job and I have no complaints. We've been running on solar for a few months now and everything is great. Simply Solar did a really good job and we had a really good experience with them. I'm surprised that they have low reviews on ComplaintsBoard.com. I've been telling my friends about them and will keep doing so.

My experience with Simply Solar is like what O said in their review. They got an A+ rating, but who knows what that even means. I'm gonna complain to someone about it because reviews don't even matter. By the way, Simply Solar and Simply Solar California are the same thing, but they have different names on different websites. If you wanna know everything, you gotta look at both names.

Anyway, I wrote a review on another website and you can see pictures there too. The good reviews for Simply Solar are kinda sketchy because there are bad reviews too. I'm not the only one who had a bad experience.

I hired Simply Solar to put in a new roof, upgrade my electrical panel, and install solar panels. They didn't do anything right. They didn't even get permits or take off the old stuff before they put on the new stuff. There were gaps and old debris left everywhere. It was so bad that it caused damage to my house. There's water coming in and dry rot now.

The worst part was trying to get Simply Solar to take responsibility. Every time I told them about a problem, they said it wasn't their fault or blamed someone else. It was so stressful and messed up my life.

Everything I said is true and I have proof. Don't trust Simply Solar.

This company is a total disaster! From the owners to the workers to the sales team, we had a terrible, dishonest experience that we wouldn't want anyone else to go through. Simply Solar put solar on our roof after many delays and lies from the salesman, including that he would be there for the installation and an unauthorized rebate. Management said sorry, but we should have seen the warning signs. After a few days, we noticed many broken tiles during the installation process and told the installers and head office. They said they would replace the tiles, but the roof looked worse and worse. We asked for their roofing team to come see what was going on, but they didn't respond. Finally, after the installation team was "done," we told two of the Simply Solar owners about our situation. They said they would fix it, but it's been a nightmare for NINE months. Because of Simply Solar's negligence and poor workmanship, we have several leaks to the inside of our home, likely with mold between the drywall, a tarped roof still nine months after installation, a decimated tile roof, and a poorly installed solar system. We've consulted industry experts to determine what happened and what needs to be fixed, and they all said the work was shockingly poor and the roof was in great shape before the installation. Missing screws, incorrectly installed brackets, lack of flashing, incorrect tiles installed, tiles poorly glued together...it goes on and on. We've worked with Simply Solar for nine months to fix this situation, but we're now approaching the rainy season. We wish we never met these people and didn't install solar. We wish you the best on your search for a company who values quality and integrity--this is not it.

I saw the pics and the trim of the electrical panel is not good. It's not like the pic they sent in the email proposal. It's not even with the stucco and it's very uneven. I'd be happy if they just add the trim or pay me to get it done since they say they don't have good workers for this easy job. Thanks.

We got solar panels and two backup batteries put in by Simply Solar in May . Since then, we've had a bunch of problems. At first, everything was working fine and we were supposed to be able to use solar power, backup batteries, and an app that would show us how everything was doing. But in July, the system stopped working. They said there was a software problem and it took a whole month to fix it. When they finally did, the solar power came back on and the batteries were supposed to be working, but we still couldn't share the load. They said they'd fix that too, but they haven't yet.

Last weekend, we had a power outage and the backup batteries didn't kick in. Now the solar isn't working again and the app doesn't show anything. We paid Simply Solar over $100,000 for this system, and they also installed our roof. We're really frustrated that the system isn't working and they're not fixing the problems fast enough. We have a whole system that's not doing us any good.
