I am currently a pending client. I spoke with a customer service representative who was very well spoken and knowledgeable about debt settlement and consolidation. My interest was peaked but I wanted to take the time and review and research more about this company. *** reviews and ComplaintsBoard.com reviews are my bestfriend. My hesitation is that I do not see any reviews about the actual debt settlement product. I have noticed a ton of reviews about customer service which was remarkable, however I need reviews and testimonials about the product actually working for people. I feel that five star ratings are geared more towards the customer service that has been received versus the effectiveness of the product. I will continue to dig for reviews that speak to the actual product before I make a decision to proceed.

I found this company online and was excited about the help I thought I was going to get. I was encouraged to do a Debt Resolution program. I was told to stop my creditors from automatically drafting my payments and that Freedom Debt Relief via Simple Path Financial would negotiate with my creditors to consolidate my debt. What *** didnt tell me is that I need to save 25% of my debt in the *** account BEFORE they negotiate. Wow! So I have to default on MULTIPLE accounts for over a year while I save $5K. He tried to make me feel bad by consistently bringing up the interests Im paying for my debt; I guess to get me to just agree & thats a no go. How do you expect people to not pay for months to over a year and further ruin the credit theyre supposed to help you fix. Im extremely disappointed but I will do this on my own.

This was a first for me and i wholeheartedly believe that you never get a 2nd chance to make a good first impression! On that note, *** was an absolute amazing first impression! She is the most patient customer service person I have ever come across in my 52 years on this earth! OMG! She was absolutely amazing in her presentation of the program for which I enrolled in and right now I am very pleased. Her professionalism as well as her thoroughness to complete tasks are impeccable assets as I am completely convinced that this direction is very much in my favor to improve my quality of life! I am a *** on excellent customer service as I worked in that same capacity 19 years. *** was mainly the reason I moved forward with the program and I will invite others that can utilize the same guidance. Thank you so, so much ***. You Rock!

I am surprised by the good reviews. I received an offer via mail and applied for the loan. I have a credit score of 700+ so I get a lot of offer but SimplePath had "pre approve" me for $80,000 and I needed some quick cash to purchase stock. I applied for the loan and I got rejected. As shocking as that was given their "pre-approval" letter and the fact that nothing had changed on my credit history I realized very quickly where the trap is. Shortly after I started receiving calls from random loan companies. I spoke to one of them and asked how they got my information. They told me that their "partner" had shared the information and they are following up on my profile. I was shocked as I had not applied for any other loan or inquiries anyone but Simple Path. This is an identity theft, false advertisement and a scam. I hope other victims stumble upon this review. There are many legitimate loans that you can easily get don't fall for this one. SIMPLE PATH FINANCIAL sent me a pre-approved letter offering me ***:great! I called: it took them less then 2 minutes to say they could not help me because I wasnt in enough unsecured debt , to even be considered? Then:#1: why did they send me an offer? #2: this company wants you to be in over your head, with money ? problems in order to help you? Because they can *** UP the interest rates!? Well that doesnt surprise me, BUT: you guys suck! I could afford the EFfIn loan! Would pay it back right away, but it took them longer to answer the phone ? then it did for a answer? Based on the question? Do you have more than *** dollars Im unsecured loan? No I dont my answersorry you do not qualify? Not by my income or credit score or my ability to pay back? Something is wrong with all this? WTF? My advice dont live beyond your means, and everything will work outF&$)(;:/[protected]@&$K these ? peeps,.. I have been in the Financial Recovery Program with this company for about the last 4 years. I was in debt way over my head to the sum of about $30,000.00 , I was drowning and ready to claim bankruptcy. Then a friend recommended that I try this program. I was extremely skeptical to say the least. Then I spoke to someone who changed my LIFE! His name is Edgar S and he was absolutely wonderful! He walked me through the entire process and told me to call him day or night with ant questions. I know that people just say these things, but Edgar is a true man of his word. Any questions I had regardless of how great or small he was there patiently waiting to answer, and it didn't stop there. I have now graduated the program debt free with no strings attached and to this day 4 years latter I still speak with him directly with any concerns I may have. I would Highly recommend not only this program to anyone in need, but 100% recommend to speak to Edgar directly. He is a true HERO in my book. Thanks so much Edgar, your friend for LIFE!

Simple Path is a company that makes their money by selling your information. I attempted to fill out for a loan based on an offer I received in the mail, rather than a response that the loan was denied or approved at a higher interest rate, I received 6 back to back emails from other companies denying our loan requests. I reached out to Simple Path and Cameron responded that they did have authorization to share our information, I argued the point. Cameron responded "well we couldn't get you the 5.99 interest rate so we were looking to see if we could get you approved through another company", I explained if my loan request was denied, I should have been contacted, and a second request be made to ask if I wanted my information shared. Cameron still tried to argue that I had authorized this, I made clear that I did not want our information shared further. Further note, the offer letter we received stated as low as 7.99 interest, that's actually along with their ComplaintsBoard.com rating that made me trust to attempt a loan, but based on Cameron's automated response that they couldn't give us the 5.99 interest rate, you know this is a gimmick to sell information, or I would have been offered something at a higher interest rate. We're already pre-approved with one of our banks, I risked reaching out to see if I could get a lower interest rate, should have known better.

I was looking for a "loan" to pay off one account with a ridiculous interest rate. Got pre-approval letter from Simple Path for way more that I needed. 3 reps called me back and left messages. I called back and spoke with Dan C. From his questions I got the feeling that this was a debt consolidation program and asked him if that was what it was. Did not get a straight answer so I told him that I had worked with one before (which I needed at the time) and he was adamant that it was nothing like that so don't even think they were the same. Well they are a debt consolidation program. He wanted to pay off all loans and credit cards but was going to "let me keep 1 credit card and an *** card for online shopping). Even though I kept telling him I wasn't interested he kept talking over me telling me I was on a fixed income and would never get out of debt and a bunch of . I have finally gotten my credit score up to a 702 and keep my credit cards paid every month so I was definitely not going through the consolidation stuff again. He just kept on talking even when I told him I was going to hang up. "Well that's up to you but" I don't know what was next because I hung up. Why do companies send out pre-approval loan letters and no where nean a loan company. If you need consolidation this company is probably just like all the rest but if you need a loan Simple Path Financial is not for you!

I feel very upset and taken advantage of after my dealings with this company. I did not file a complaint, as the problems I have with this company stem from my own lack of attention. I was in a bind for a loan for some home improvements, as my contractor did not approve of the lender I had lined up and was ready to get started. I contacted Simple Path for a loan, and in my rush to get the loan secured, did not do my due diligence. I believe this company is practicing predatory lending practices. They charged me 10% of the loan amount as their fee. My agent suggested I up the amount of my loan by $1000 to offset this fee (which I had misunderstood the amount of the fee up to this point, again my fault) and then sent me a bill for $2000. They are now contacting me wanting me to give them several thousand more. So, I have the loan, but I no longer have the money to pay my contractor. The fee this company charges for their service is exorbitant, and borrowers would be better off doing a little more research before agreeing to do business with this company. I came to this site, based on the website where I initially applied, though my agent continually says the company name is nationwide, and his linkedin profile says he works for the borrowing club. I am very confused by this company in general, i feel they are making it even more difficult than it needs to be to find accurate information on them. If I can find ComplaintsBoard.com pages on these other companies, I will leave the same review there.

My rep was nice enough. What I did NOT appreciate was the company's bait and switch tactics. The mailer I received said advisors would help me find the best loan solution. OK, that works, I want to consolidate three loans with high interest rates into one loan with a hopefully lower interest rate. However, when I talked with my "rep", he said my credit score a good 25 points lower than it actually is, and that it was going down because I had cards reporting balances close to the credit limit. WTH? That last comment about my balances had me scratching my head. I track ALL expenses for all cards on an excel spreadsheet that is updated regularly, and I make sure my statement closing balance is less than 25% of the card limit. EVERY. SINGLE. MONTH. Balances are paid off monthly and about half my cards will show $0 statement balance at any given time. I've been rebuilding my credit for 3 years now and I watch those balances like a hawk. I also check my credit score at multiple sites regularly. Needless to say, despite having an actual score that was good enough for several hefty limit increases this past year, and a low debt/income ratio, I was told they couldn't fund a loan but guess what? I was eligible for their debt reduction service! Woo hoo! Not.I told him no thanks and finished the call. When I got the mailer this week I thought the company sounded familiar, but a quick scan on *** gave the impression they were legit. A little more research after my call with them today resulted in finding MANY complaints about their bait and switch tactics. To which I'm adding mine.

Josh S at Simple Path was amazing. He was very informative and knowledgeable about the process. He answered all my questions and was very professional. He did not pester me or push me into making a decision. He gave me all the information and allowed me to decide on my own if this was the path I wanted to take. Unfortunately, I was not approved for a personal loan but was offered another debt relief option to get my debts taken care of. Again, the process was very well explained and I understood how it worked and that my credit score would take a hit. The entire time he was professional and friendly. And once I called him back to say I wanted to go thru with it, the entire process was completed the same day and I felt a huge sigh of relief after. I am aware my credit score will go down temporarily, that I need to stop making payments to the selected creditors immediately, that the accounts will not be paid off immediately, that once they negotiate the bill with the creditor they will then take money from my escrow account to get the bill paid off once I give them the approval. Also that the creditors may call for the past due payment or possibly threat lawsuit but that I can forward all those calls directly to the Attorneys office. Most of the negative reviews I've seen are due to the lack of understanding the process. I also did my research on the company and it explains in detail exactly how the process works. I am very pleased with my experience and with my rep Josh. No complaints and I am ready for the process to begin and be debt free. This process may not be for everyone but it works for me.

I received a flyer in the mail that I was pre-approved for debt consolidation. I looked up the company online and filled out some simple questions. The next day I got a call from Gabe that went through the whole process with me. Being new and a tad confused I asked the simple question; "So, you are going to provide me a loan for x amount and pay off my debts and then in turn I pay you back monthly?" Gabe said; "yep, that is how it works". Okay, well that was my biggest thing. However, what caught me off guard is that Gabe then said; "we have to go through a welcome call which is just a legal formality, but don't listen to them and just agree with everything they say. They are just reading a script and I will help you once you get through it". With that red flag in my mind I continued with the welcome call to which they now informed me to STOP PAYING ALL DEBT and go into delinquent status. Once you are late for a few months we then take the money that is you have paid and work out a settlement with the credit card company. The welcome phone call also stated not to answer the phone when the creditors call and to go on our website and take a look and how to answer questions if you do decide to pick up the phone. They said to only answer the calls once every few months...WHAT?!?!? Are you kidding me? Go into delinquent status for months? Wow... that makes no sense to me! After that welcome call was done I thought; 'Nope, no way am I doing this and I need to tell people about this". Granted I know there are people out there who need this but wow this is not the way to go, you might as well file chapter 7 bankruptcy.

On a whim I googled what I could do to get my debt under control. I had seriously considered drastic measures, but filing out the form online to get a call is one of the best decisions I have made in a very long time. After a game of phone tag, I was able to speak with a kind and understanding *** I have never felt confident about my financial choices, but listening to her and being guided by her was reassuring in the most calming of ways. *** helped me understand that in order to get out I must take two steps back before I can make life changing alterations to my life. Money. It has been a struggle, but I have a plan that *** found for me and I am ready to make this change for myself, my family and my financial future. Future me will look back at this very moment and thank *** for being a friendly, educated, very versed person on the other end of the phone. She wasn't just friendly, she understood that life happens and I was embarrassed to tell her more about myself and my situation because her kindness radiated through an invisible connection that gave me hope. That hope was dwindling through the days and needed a jumpstart. That jumpstart came just when the last flicker was fading. I was even given a small script to say to creditors to give me more confidence. This isn't an overnight fix but it is certainly one in the right direction! Finally! Someone who cares enough about people to get them out of the mess they created for themselves. I know I did this to myself, but *** in all her generosity gave her time to help a near hopeless case. I appreciate your time it took to ease my worries, I appreciate the life changing path you gave me to fix the damage done, I appreciate all the paperwork you have to sort through, i appreciate you saving me time and headaches, I appreciate the peace of mind I can now claim as mine. That is priceless. A good night's rest with money troubles being handled by professionals! Thank you, ***!

I tried to get a loan from Simple Path Financial LLC but they said no. That's fine, but what's not fine is that they said my credit score is 577 when it's really *** and 591. They said they got it from my Experian account, but my score hasn't been updated since April. I think they're using fake scores to trick people into getting into debt.

I got a mail from Simple Path Financial and decided to give them a call. They said they could give me a loan of $20K for 36/60 months at a rate of 5.99%. But after I gave them my personal info and let their lending partner do a hard credit check, they offered me a rate of over 15%. That's 10% more than what they said their best borrowers would get based on credit score and income.

So, I got a call from someone at Simple Path Financial LLC on June 14. They said my application was approved and wanted to talk about it. When I called back, they asked about my debts and then said I wasn't approved. This was after they left me a message saying I was approved. It happened at 4:04pm (EDT). Simple PATH should be able to check their records to confirm this.
