I went to Shore Line Properties, Inc. for a trip to Ocean City, Md. They got some properties they rent out and I checked one of them out. They looked fly on the website but when I got to the place it's tiny. The thing is, I saw some bug-like things crawling around in the bed of the main room. One bug, I could deal with, but then I found another one! So I was like, nah, I'm out. I had to leave one day earlier than planned. This unit had poor lighting and no table where you could eat. They're saying it accommodates six people, so why is there not enough seating? There were no trash cans in any room and the lighting was weak. I'm telling you, I'm never staying there again. I spoke to someone about the bugs, but they didn't want to hear it. No apology or anything.

This company has been super unresponsive and not nice about what's happening lately. My man and I organized to stay in a condo for the end of July since ages ago, before the virus was even a thing. Usually, we'd still go, but my little girl and I just tested positive for covid! I'm in the hospital for who-knows-how-long now. This company is saying no cancellations or reschedules no matter what. We signed the papers before the covid policy was a thing, and it changed a while after we signed. We gave proof of our tests and hospital records, but they still said no to rescheduling us until next summer. We're screwed out of loads of money because of them. I want to stop others from dealing with this company too. They don't give a crap about us, and it's gross. Do some homework before you consider them. We had no idea there would be a pandemic, let alone that we'd get the virus and need to be in the hospital. If we went, we could spread it, and we don't want that! It's messed up that companies like this only care about the cash and not their customers' safety. Look out for them.

I left early cuz I had some creepy bugs in my bed! Gross! Plus, the place was super dark, no good lights at all. And there was no table to eat at, which was annoying. Also, the bathroom tub was slippery and dangerous without a rubber mat. And there's hardly any trash cans! Come on! And outside, the balcony chairs were old and looked like they've been painted a million times. Not very inviting. And the table was uneven, so you couldn't put anything on it. Plus, the rug was stained and the bedspread was nasty. I mean, come on, they gotta wash that stuff! I won't stay with these people again.

This condo ain't the best I've been to. I got charged 90 bucks for 2 parking papers without them even stating that before I came in. Fridge and freezer were busted, and all 3 TVs were out of commission. Also, the place was unclean. I hit up the office and discussed the mess - nothing was done on the same day. The next day, I went to call the office again when the dishwasher overflowed the kitchen. I had to wait for hours until someone came, but I ended up cleaning it myself. Most people would ask their guests if they are feeling alright, but these folks acted like they wanted us to leave. I think they could have given us a little something and compensate us for all of our trouble. In a nutshell, I won't recommend this spot to anyone. We didn't get to have fun at all. If you wanna hear my opinion, it's just bad business.

My fam checked in2 one of the condos thru shoreline properties on Sat 8/21 aft recvng a txt msg indctng the prop was rdy. It was not clen fr the last renters & it was apparnt many things were not clen4 quite some time. It was disgust & unsanitary. This was xtra concernin due2 Covid & havng a yung child. They offered 2 hav some1 come clen which they did but they only helped clen, & the clen wasn't adquate. It took ovr two & a half hrs2 clen the entire condo, losng out on our 1st nite completely. I was supposed2 have a rental manager call me aft I followed up about my concerns again on 8/23 & hav yet 2 speak 2 a rental manager. Since I ws never called back I left a note when I returned the keys on 8/28. I recieved a vm later that day but the manager still did not address my request 2 be refunded the clenning fee & 1st nite stay in. I hav called back twice with no response again.

Last week, me and my family booked with Shoreline Properties, Inc. for a little vacation. When we arrived, we noticed that the fridge wasn't working properly, so we had to buy ice to keep our groceries fresh. I called the office the next morning, and the lady I spoke to told me to keep the receipts and I'll get reimbursed for the ice. They sent a technician to check the fridge, but I had to call the office multiple times to inquire about the status of the repair. The repairman eventually fixed it, but it stopped working again the next day. They sent the repairman back out to finally fix it, and he did, but a few days later, I got a text from the office saying he was coming to fix it again, despite it already being fixed. We checked out a few days later and I went to speak to our agent. She didn't have time for me and told me to fill out the rental card with issues and she would call me back, but she never did. It's evident that they don't care about their customers, and I would not recommend renting with them.

I rented from Shore Line Properties, Inc. and paid $2874.39 for a rental week. Unfortunately, I couldn't go due to medical reasons and contacted them to let them know. I got no response until I called and spoke to Linda who said I wouldn't get a refund, but they'd try to re-rent it and I could get a refund with a service charge deducted. They found no one to rent it, though, and said it was me or no one. I asked to transfer the rental to my kids or use it later, but they said no. I complained and was referred to Keti who refunded $1124.00, but they kept $1750.39, which seemed unfair considering I didn't get any service. It's a shabby way to do business and I feel like I lost out.

I wanted to go to Ocean City, MD for a week vacation but couldn't because of Covid. My MA state doesn't let people travel to "hot spots" like MD and if I go, I'll lose pay or maybe lose my job. I asked for a refund from Shoreline Properties, Inc. for the unit in the *** building that I booked back in January. I've been booking with Shoreline Properties for ten years. But Shoreline Properties told me that the unit owner won't refund or reschedule for next year. They said that other unit owners are allowing rescheduling, but not for mine. I wouldn't have minded to reschedule since we love the place, but they said no. I think it's so disappointing that they couldn't help me out with this. I get that Maryland is open, but there are state penalties for people who travel there, like fees of $500-$1000. We always choose Ocean City because we really love it, but this problem with Shoreline Properties has made our plans for the future not as happy. I know some of this isn't their fault, but we'll never rent from Even Keel until 201 again. I hope that in these tough times, they'll be a bit more understanding and compassionate and do the right thing.
