Samsung sent a service tech to do an inspection on my range which was smoking. He wasn't very friendly, but he did use my bathroom. I don't know who he was talking to but I do believe THEY told him to disconnect my oven. This tech was NOT here to fix the issue let alone disconnect it. When I read the email I received from Samsung I was very upset. It wasn't a mechanical issue, without any other explanation. I called them and they stated that it was grease. Samsung stated that my husband could fix the issue. Well he did. I will never let Samsung send this service tech from Service Quick again. I am NOT stupid I wouldn't use my oven if I felt my family or myself or my home for that matter without fixing the issue.
Recommendation: So, my recommendation is don't let Service Quick tell their tech to DISCONNECT your appliance
