DO NOT USE Encore Concrete Coating. I will explain how we got there, but I received an email below from ***"If you choose the route of trying to falsely portray our reputation, I will have our team clearly and politely refute any such claims. We dont believe in working with individuals who purposefully try to distort situations in a way that reflects the company in a simply false, negative, light at the sole goal of attempting to ruin our fantastic reputation. Additionally, because of the threat, we will be declining all future work at your residence from this point on forward and your warranty will be voided." In April 2022, we had the garage floor installed. The product is great and looks good, but unfortunately, the installation quality is very poor. After the floor was good for walking, we discovered how many missed spots were left not covered with the final coating and how ugly the front line has been made, even with coating bumps on the floor. We requested repairs on the brand-new floor three times. This resulted in adding too many layers on the front line in order to make the entrance line straight, causing a level issue. Currently, the floor collects water because the level in front is higher. I did follow the process and filed a claim under the warranty, and my request was immediately denied. My husband and I tried to explain the real reason for the issue, but instead of helping us, we received the message above.

I had Encore Concrete Coatings do my garage floor and steps. After 3 days, I opened the door to check it out. The first step didn't have the final coating, so there were sharp pebbles sticking up. They also missed the top step in front of the weather stripping. I called them right away and they said they'd come the next morning. But they never showed up, not even after that. It's been almost two weeks now. I talked to someone in the office who said it wasn't his thing and transferred me. After waiting on hold for 5 minutes, I got disconnected. I've been calling every day and sent 2 emails like their answering machine asks, but no response. Only one guy from the company called me because he was told to, but he didn't know why. When I explained, he said it wasn't his thing either and promised someone would call me back. But no one did. Overall, customer support is non-existent and I still have two unfinished steps.

On July 27, 2022, we met with a guy from this company at our house and we agreed to let Encore do some work on our home later on. We said we'd give them a $1,400 deposit and the guy said we'd get it back if we didn't go ahead with the project. During the meeting, the guy told us we'd get more paperwork with info about the process, warranty, and a receipt for the deposit. He said his office would call us with a start date. On July 28, 2022, I got an email from Encore saying the project would start in October. I called the guy right away and told him we needed the work done sooner. He said they could do it on September 17, 2022. I reminded him that we hadn't received the promised paperwork by that date. On August 1, 2022, I got another email from Encore, but I couldn't open any of the attachments. I left a message for the guy, telling him I couldn't open the attachments and reminding him that we needed the paperwork. On August 3, 2022, I managed to send a general message to the company through their website, letting them know that we wouldn't be going ahead with the project because we still hadn't received the paperwork. I also asked for my deposit back. After that, the guy called me and we talked about how I wasn't going ahead with the project. He hung up on me. I let them know within three business days. On August 9, 2022, I sent another email to the company, asking for my refund again. I still haven't heard back from them.
