Stefan Mayer is invited to respond to the following people who have recently paid him money and received no deliveries, no installations, and only broken promises and no refunds:
A.M. paid $15, 000 in June 2011
M.W. paid $19, 000 in Nov/Dec 2011
M.K. paid $6, 500 in May 2011
L.G. paid $8, 000 in July 2011

Where has all this money gone ?

Holidays abroad? A lifestyle of luxury? Into your home in Pymble which is on the market right now?Or is it just accumulating somewhere offshore so that when matters get too uncomfortable here in Australia you can relocate elsewhere?

Fraudster Stefan Mayer attempted to prevent one of his scammed customers from exposing his unethical business dealings on the Internet by applying for an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) against that customer in February 2012. During the hearing proceedings Stefan Mayer's wife Marie Campion ( who is employed as GM, Marketing at Australian Institute of Company Directors) appears to have made false statements under oath concerning her involvement with her husband's companies. Marie Campion stated that she was not involved in any way at all, yet at the time, she was still a share holder in at least one of Stefan Mayer's companies and was a director of at least one other of her husband Stefan Mayer's phoenix companies, that with debts in excess of $800, 000.00 was placed into liquidation on 16th December 2011.

The application for the AVO did not succeed.

During the hearing Stefan Mayer admitted that another person he had scammed had come to his home at 10 St Andrews Drive Pymble and threatened to burn Stefan's hair off his head, in front of his family, if he did not repay the $200, 000.00 owed. Surprisingly, Stefan Mayer did not contact the police about that threat, nor did he apply for an AVO against that scammed person. Apparently, he must have paid that debt as he still retains his hair. Stefan Mayer is, however, minus the gold chain and Rolex wrist watch (both visible in the picture ). These were confiscated by the Court Sheriff, shortly after this picture was taken, and sold. The proceeds were returned to another scammed customer of Stefan Mayer's who had obtained a judgement against him through the Consumer, Trader & Tenancy Tribunal.

It will be interesting to learn the outcome of the Court proceedings brought against Stefan Mayer this year by the NSW Fair Trading.

There have been at least three fraud complaints lodged against Stefan Mayer with the NSW Police during the past twelve months. He has been cheating his customers and suppliers for some ten years using Phoenix companies and getting away with his fraudulent activities.Stefan Mayer is the owner Director of his current company, Bespoke Installations Pty Ltd ABN [protected] that he uses to scam and defraud customers. When will the authorities in Australia catch up up with this crook Stefan Mayer. When is the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) going to wake up. They employ Stefan Mayer's wife Marie Paula Campion as their GM Marketing. When they were notified of their GM Marketing husband's fradulent activities, by a scammed customer of Stefan Mayer, some months ago, they did nothing except refuse to accept any further emails from that scammed customer. The AICD is the organisation that is supposed to be there to encourage ethical business directorship. The GM Marketing at the AICD is a shareholder in Bespoke Installations Pty Ltd, and was a director of his other company Scullery and Holz Interiors Pty Ltd which went into liquidation in December 2011 owing suppliers and customers in excess of $800, 000.00. The company had no assets of any substance to cover the debts.

The Australian Institute of Company Directors need to take notice of these comments. Their GM Marketing is Marie Paula Campion, the wife of this scammer. Stefan Mayer has been taking money from people in a fraudulent manner, making promises that he can provide Home Warranty Insurance in order to get them to sign a contract. Neither he nor his company is licensed to install kitchens and he is unable to provide the Home Warranty Insurance. His, in conjunction, installer Adam Kovac of A.J.K. Constructions Pty Ltd was also unlicensed as a builder or electrician and he could not provide Home Warranty Insurance either.

This is adding insult to injury. Not only do Stefan Mayer and Marie Campion steal other people's money, but they flaunt it. They are disgusting human beings. It is quite surprising that the AICD continues to employ her when they know full well what she and her husband have been doing for the past 10+ years. I have absolutely no respect for the organisation.

Marie Campion is the GM (General Manager) of Marketing at The Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). Marie Campion is also the wife of Stefan Mayer. Marie Campion has been working for AICD for 4 years. AICD is a membership organisation for company directors. With approximately 30, 000 members - this is no small collection of people. Lets look at their Vision statement from their website shall we? "Providing leadership on director issues and promoting excellence in governance to achieve a positive impact for the economy and society." Interesting. How then, can this organisation that is supposed to be the leader in its field and stand for so much in the way of ethics - employ Marie Campion while knowing her association to Stefan Mayer? It is most likely that she has had knowledge of all the fraudulent activities and failed businesses being conducted by her husband. Did the sale of their $1.6 million dollar house to her name for $1 in 2006, not raise any suspicions from her? For the AICD to keep someone like this in the employ when this matter became public (early 2012) speaks volumes of the integrity of their organisation. AICD members should be questioning the validity of materials received with Marie Campion spin doctoring the marketing messages for the company. The fact that Marie Campion's Facebook page is still public and showing photos of her and Stefan Mayer hamming it up in Bali on other peoples' money just demonstrates their flagrant disregard for the lost money of their victims.

On the 12th July 2011 we ordered a kitchen cabinet from Mr Stefan Mayer the Director of Bespoke Installations trading as Scullery & Holz. We signed a contract and paid him $8000.00 cash, a 50% deposit as these were Mr Mayer’s terms of business.
Mr Mayer told us our cabinet would be installed within six to eight weeks. After ten weeks had passed we tried to contact Mr Mayer on both his business and mobile phones and our calls were not returned. We continued to attempt to contact Mr Mayer without success. Finally in November 2011, after more than four months had passed from the date of signing our contract, Mr Mayer got in contact.
We advised him that we required the kitchen cabinet to be installed prior to Christmas or wanted our deposit refunded as the terms of the contract we had entered into were not met.
On 16th December 2011 Mr Mayer told us that the cabinet was completed and would be installed on 20th December 2011, four days later. Once again this date passed and our cabinet was not delivered or installed.
It was evident to us that Mr Mayer had no intention of fulfilling his contract with us; therefore on 24th January 2012 we applied to the CTTT (Consumer Trader and Tenancy Tribunal) to have our matter heard. On 1st March 2012 we attended a hearing at the CTTT and at this meeting an order was made for Mr Mayer to repay us our deposit of $8000.00 by 15th March 2012. Mr Stefan Mayer did not comply with the CTTT order dated 1st March 2001 and we have not received our $8000.00 that he was ordered to repay us. As all CTTT orders are enforceable and must be complied with we proceeded with the matter. On 16th March 2012 we obtained a certified copy of the CTTT order and had it registered by the Downing Centre local court. On 30th March 2012 a Notice of Writ for the Levy of Property, was issued against the judgement debtor Mr Stefan Mayer, the Director of Bespoke Installations Pty Ltd.
It is now 13th July 2012, over a year since we signed the contract and paid our 50% cash deposit. We have not received our $8000.00 ordered by the courts to be repaid to us and Mr Stefan Mayer is still a Director of the company Bespoke Installations Pty Ltd and continues to trade.

AGREE. So happy that the Office of Fair Trading is taking action against Stefan Mayer. He doesn't pay his superannuation, his suppliers and he rips off customers. It looks like Marie Campion is no better. I hope the law catches up with both of them!

We were also taken for close to $15K by what I can only call a true ###. He told us he had his own factory that manufactures the joinery. It turns out he's never had a factory and can't even find anyone to make anything for him because he's conned all the joiners in Sydney. I agree with you about his wife, Marie Campion. Of course she must know what is going on as a Director of the companies that are in liquidation. I wonder why A Current Affair didn't mention that Marie Campion works at the AICD-seems like the most interesting part of this whole story. "Stefan Mayer, serial conman married to Marie Campion, person in charge of marketing corporate values to Australian Directors." It would be funny if there weren't so many victims.

Stefan Mayer took a large deposit from us for a kitchen and then did nothing. He made up excuse after excuse, putting us months behind and thousands of dollars out of pocket. It turns out he has been doing this to dozens maybe hundreds of people. How surprised was I to learn after reading the Sydney Morning Herald article that Stefan Mayer's wife, Marie Campion, is the GM of Marketing at the AICD! She was a director of the company that stole our money! Stefan has been scamming people for well over 10 years in 5 different companies and his wife, Marie Campion, is in a senior position at the Australian Institute of company directors? Is she so stupid she doesn't know what her husband has been doing all these years? Since she put the house in her name, it seems she must be in on the con. What scam artists!
