Scottish Friendly review: Fund transfer from investment plan

After opening an investment plan with Scottish Friendly I requested to transfer the funds to another provider. What should have been a simple transfer took more than six months. The receiving company chased them repeatedly, but there was no progress or communication from Scottish Friendly. When I complained I was told they were not at fault and the complaint was dismissed. I eventually withdrew my money. There was no accountability.
