I acquired a residence on a street in Greenville, SC

I acquired a residence on a street in Greenville, SC, 29607. On Tuesday, Jan 18, 2022, my property manager informed me that the tenants lacked heat, and Sanders Home Comfort Solutions was contacted. They diagnosed faulty gas furnace pressure switches and ordered replacements. I approved the repair and awaited part installation. On January 24th, I received an invoice from Sanders HCS for the completed work, which included replacing pressure switches and a gas valve. The invoice also listed additional issues: a defective zone control board, malfunctioning zone dampers, and faulty thermostats, with one replaced. They provided a $1,854 estimate for further repairs. Doubting the simultaneous failures, I sought a second opinion. My trusted HVAC company found significant damper damage, improper wiring from the initial repair, a wrongly replaced downstairs thermostat, and a functioning second thermostat. After confronting Sanders HCS about the thermostat, they acknowledged their mistake and replaced it. I am seeking a refund and compensation for various costs, including rewiring, thermostat reinstallation, damper repairs, and tenant displacement without heat.
