It was just another day, and then a "high school student" decides to knock on my door. He asks me if I want to help him graduate by get community service credits by subscribing to the San Francisco Chronicle. I didn't want to, but he kept begging me and wouldn't leave. After he broke me down, I talked with my mother about it and she said that I should call the chronicle and cancel, so I did. Two days later the same guy that came to my door called me and kept pleading and begging me, and I was too much a nice guy to say no, so a friend noticed that I was getting upset, took the phone, told the guy off, and hung up on him. They will take the sympathy factor, and break you with it.

What does community service have to do with intelligence? Geez. In my day a degree was issued on the basis of academic success. Not suckin up. Your post tells me a lot. No wonder we have in the White House, what we have in the White House.
