I bought two brand new Samsonite Ziplite 6 suitcases in Dec. 2025 and on the first time using them the expansion zipper slide broke off on one of them. I called the warranty department, and they said I cannot ship the suitcase to their closest store 101 miles away, but I have to bring it to them in person, then pay $20 for them to ship it to a repair facility. I asked if I could just ship it directly to their repair facility and they said no, they have to evaluate it first. I told them the zipper looks like new and it just needs the slide. Nope. Worst warranty ever!

Recommendation: Cheap zipper clasps, terrible warranty.
