I received a call last October to enroll in an extended warranty for my Nissan Altima. Since I had recently paid my car off, I felt this was a good option. When they called, the salesperson made it appear as though he was calling on behalf of Nissan and so I went ahead with the scam. Unfortunately, it was only a few weeks later that I heard many negative reports on the news regarding these warranties. When I shared it with my mechanic, he seemed to be aware of the name and it brought a sense of relief until I had to actually use their service. It was a month ago that I needed to have work performed on my car and after they completed the diagnosis, they went to call Safe Ride, but the number was disconnected. One month later, the number is still disconnected. :(

If I was gainfully employed, I would've probably let this go, but having been unemployed since last November and knowing that I've been paying them on a monthly basis in the amount of $150, I am crushed and very hurt. I am $1500 in the hole and have nothing to show accept for debt. :(

Getting a refund would mean the world to my family and I. Please let me know if I need to provide any additional details.

Thanks!

My question is more towards the safety and legit situation of Bitter Buyer.
I posted a serious complaint with [redacted]s and two months ago and I have not gotten any response.
[redacted]s sent me an email (two days ago) suggesting to try Bitter Buyer to get my money back.
Has it worked for you? Has Bitter Buyer been able to get your money back?
Would love your feedback.
Thanks

SAFE RIDE WARRANTY is a scam.

They took $1, 619 from me, but after following all their procedures for a REFUND - nothing - this company disappears overnight.

Three other companies are involved, but they all lie to you.
TIER ONE WARRANTY may be legit - it is very hard to tell - but they are somehow involved, and they helped me get through to INTERSTATE DEALER SERVICING - who actually will - they say - issue a refund check, BUT REFUSE TO GIVE ME THE AMMOUNT.

TIER ONE supervisor called INTERSTATE and then TIER ONE called me back! Great!
TIER ONE says that I will receive a refund check in four to six weeks for $666.
WAIT! I never filed a claim on the phony policy, nor would I ever collect if I had.

I want ALL my money refunded! THAT is what I am after, because that is MY money!

I have signed a contract with a collection agency full of attorneys that gives me HOPE!
Go to: www.bitterbuyer.com
Bitter Buyer .com will work to get consumers their money back!

I am hopeful now that I have allies going after these ### that I will get at least $1, 600 of my refund.
