SA Post Office review: mvl online renewal

I applied online to do my car license renewal – The post Office sent me a quote which I paid on 7 April 22 (R 680) – I still have not received my car license. I phoned the Post Office holding on for about an hour at a time when I got through to, I was told that I now need to pay and additional R 390 penalties for late renewal – no one can explain to me how this was calculated and why it was not in the original quote. I lodge several tickets on the online portal but was not contacted by the Post office – it is now almost 6 months and I still do not have a license
