My husband and I made reservations to Ruth Chris on 12/15/2019 for 7:45pm Confirmation:[protected]. We were coming to have dinner before a comedy show that started at 9pm this evening. We arrived early around 6:30pm and there was open setting in the bar as we wanted to sit anyways to catch the remainder of the football game.
When seated he ordered immediately without the menu as we come to Ruth Chris often and know it by heart. We both order a chopped salad for appetizer. My husband ordered the T-bone ribeye medium well and I ordered the Stuffed Chicken Breast with a side order of Cremini Mushrooms.
After waiting 15 mins we asked if we could get our complimentary bread and the waitress said, "Oh I did not know you wanted any". After finally receiving the complimentary bread and bringing our chopped salad that stands as a tower but when received was fallen over just on to the plate, we were still waiting 45+mins for our food. We noticed a manager walking around asking all the tables around us besides ours if everything was ok and how if they were enjoying their visit and if there was anything they could do for them. He walked right passed ours.in disbelief and at this point upset I called him over to our table and told him that we have been waiting for more than 45 minutes for our food and no one has come to check on us or give us any update. He then went to back and came back with our food. They sat food down and said enjoy! No sorry for the wait or anything. To make things even worse the waitress came over and said here's a complimentary dessert for you all not letting us pick and more of an insult the plate said Happy Birthday. Clearly it was made for someone else and they didn't want and was given to us.
Ruth Chris is one of our favorite restaurants we are loyal customers, but after this evening has left a bitter taste in our mouth. This is the second email I have sent and did not get a response, apology or compensated for our unkind visit.
