Rutan & tucker. Ira rivin review: Poor service, clumsy lawyer 1

Ira riven may have been a pretty good lawyer at some point, but not any more, at least not based on our experience. We initially assumed he was just too busy or had a few bad months, but the quality of his work never improved. Our in house attorney, who is generally measured in his assessment of people, could not stand the unreturned phone calls, non-responsive emails, unjustified memos, and wasted associate time on tangential issues. We had a few talks with Ira Rivin and his partners, explaining our concerns, the run-away bills, but sadly there was no resolution, and no change in the methodology used by Rivin and his firm. I simply cannot understand how, Rutan can ignore it's clients' needs and requests in a down market and a competitive environment. Neither Rutan nor Rivin can skate on their past reputation. Those days are over.
