Rush Tax has been instrumental in helping me with my tax issues. I have been working with them over the past 2 years and have been fantastic to work with in opinion. My case worker is Kristina and she has been excellent, professional and courteous throughout all of my questions. We first started working with her in February - then came COVID and everything stopped. Kristina still kept me informed and did her best dealing with IRS workers who were not there most of the time. Kristina was able to resolve all of our issues. Yes, we paid more than the original ad said we might end up paying. But we never would have resolved any of our issues if we tried to work it out by ourselves. She had to be creative and think out of the box to resolve some of our issues and she did that quite often. Her advice was reasonable and made me feel confident that some day we would be done with these problems. Rush fulfilled all of their promises even though it took over 2 years - no extra charges - just what we originally agreed to. That is something that should be mentioned - they followed through with the original agreement and stood by their word. I would recommend Rush Tax to anyone who needs IRS tax help.

Though this was not a process without a few bumps, mainly created by me, my Case Manager - DS, the Director of Business Development - SS, and more than one of their attorneys - IC, AA, all dealt with my angst and consuming worry, calmly and capably. I want to say that everything was smooth and perfect but for me, it wasn't. It was concerning, anxiety-laden, OMG I'M GOING TO JAIL, panic. So much of dealing with the IRS is hurry up and wait and waiting is not my strong suit. Waiting gives roots to worry and when I worry, I withdraw then, as I said, panic. I know this about me. I'm not proud of this. I don't add this to my review to justify but rather, to tell whomever finds this of value that every single person I dealt with at RUSH, also learned this about me. They helped me from start to finish. They didn't drop the ball, they were steady and methodical in a way I could not be. I didn't like going through this but if ever I had to do it again, I would use RUSH again. I made the mistake that RUSH dealt with and I'm ashamed of the mess I created. I'm also grateful to them. As a professional myself I find myself sometimes doubtful or curious about media advertisement, but now I know better.

I started my journey with RUSH about three years ago, desperate and concern about a world that was pretty new to me and that I needed to understand and get under control... that was the "world of understanding how the tax system works".

A friend told me about this group and I went on to call and to commence the pathway of fixing and understanding what was broken, and to learn what I needed to do to fix it. My moral compass was kicking and I must confess that without the ethical support, continuity and compassionate guidance of the RUSH team, I wouldn't have survive it.

I never write comments , nor I ever make public my thinking, but I feel that I have the ethical obligation to let others like me know what my experience has been in the last three years.

My overall experience with Rush is one that leaves me assured I would never refer someone there for case handling. What was done "for" me in my situation, I could have done completely on my own, with zero assistance from anyone else, attorney or not. Their "help" cost me $4,500! Throughout the time I worked through Rush, I was thoroughly frustrated with my case-handling. My case was of little consequence to everyone but me. Once I paid my balance, the IRS was not motivated in any way to refund me anything. And, once Rush was paid, they lacked motivation to stay on top of my case. It literally took 15 months to resolve my case. Despite the bull I was fed by Rush, the IRS put a tax lien on my business, sent letters to all of my customers (fully disclosing the amount I owed), and continued to send harassing letters to me. Six months after the lien was filed, I got my account paid. All the while, I'm wracking up interest on interest. It was only closed because I paid my balance IN FULL to the IRS. I was always under the impression that Rush could really move mountains. Boy was I wrong. Using Rush only cost me thousands of dollars; I saved NOTHING. I wasn't even protected from a lien and wage garnishment and continued harassing letters from the IRS. As I said, I would have been a better advocate for myself. I was the only one who did anything to begin with.

I don't make a living writing reviews or reading them. In life we deal with all sorts of people in business, some good many not so good. There is a reason why there is a A+ next to these peoples company. It's called HONESTY ! Let that marinate in for a few minutes. You can stop searching and comparing notes and pricing with everyone else. Your search is over. Rush Tax is the last and only stop you need to make.

I'll make my story short and sweet. I have dealt with five different companies during the last seven years to rid myself of my tax issues. None resolved them and I lost monies with them all. I decided to deal with the IRS myself in only getting a payment plan which was very low. Lucky Me ! In fact so low the interest on the IRS debt every month was twice of what I was paying, how nuts is that ? I lost my job several years ago. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get a full-time job. After several months of trying to get permanent employment, I decided to work on a contract basis. As such, I was claiming a higher number instead of "0". After several years, I was behind on taxes with very high interest rates. I researched online for a good tax professional. I hired a tax company and paid their high fees. However, I realized that they were not legitimate. They asked me to send all correspondence to a P. O. Box, additionally, they never returned my calls in a timely fashion.

The case manager was extremely professional, had empathy for what I was going through, he was not judgmental, and walked me through their process.

Basically, since I contacted Rush Taxes two years ago, my overall experience with the case manager had been wonderful. He talked about different options to help resolve my tax debts. While I still have an outstanding balance, the case manager and his team worked with the IRS to ensure that I don't pay anything for two years with the caveat that once I find a full-time job, I will reach out to the case manager to set up a payment plan.

I am grateful to the case manager for going above and beyond. Most importantly, his compassion, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease last fall. The case manager was able to share links to various treatment options. I will definitely refer anyone that I know with tax issues to Rush Taxes.
