I have been on 3 road scholar trips. Two of these was President Journey by private plane. I have no issues with the trips althought they are extremely demanding with very long days and some of the hotels although nice are too spread out for quick movement. When I returned I was advised that I have been banned from Road Scholar I did nothing wrong on the trip. I reviewed all the terms and conditions- I could not find anything. They sdaid the group leaders made this decision Something about a negative comment I made. I am an honest person and very detail oriented. My comments are usually only to help with no evil intention in mind. They would not be specific and said there was no reconsideration... I did mwention the trip was exhausting- which it was and others said the same.. I really have no idea what I did. I feel this was a very harsh decision as my 2 other trips had no comments at all. I had just one year lost my loved one of 50 years. I was told it was courageous of me to do this Road Scholar claims to be non for profit and educational. Well is it not part of education to help people evolve on trips and learn and grow? This was a very harsh return from the trip. They have now 2 additional around the world planned. I had sent them itineraries and suggested they catch up to other companies. What a slap in the face. I just feel for a non for profit claiming educational values this was very stern and over reactive.
