After reading about this scam I was sent an email about David Hall's failing health and needing a personal assistant. Saying he reviewed my email yet asking for my address and phone number, which is on my resume. This came from Job.com and I think that these job posting sites should be responsible for screening there employers posting on their website or giving them access to real people struggling to find a job. There are so many scams going on out there and I have seen so much of this. I think we all have had enough of these scams. Mr. Hall basically wanted in his email to help with checks and bank transfers as well as just BS along with it.

I was also offered a job from this Dave Hall, saying that he was in failing health and needed a personal assistant. I am a stay at home mom and living on a fixed income, so I thought this was a blessing. I was sent a check for over &4K and was told to deposit it into my personal account, and when it cleared, send it to one of his contacts, using the money in minutes option. I called my bank and they said they had to hold it for seven days to make sure that it wouldn't bounce from the bank it was drawn on, which was Chase Bank. I could take the money out on a good faith payment, but if it bounced I would have to pay it back. I found out that the check had bounced and now "Dave Hall'' will not return my e-mails. It's a good thing that I didn't send anything!

I received this same email offering a job. I was stupid and thought it was a real job. I sent the information requested and later received a check via priority mail. I call the company on the check and was told their bank information was stolen and that the check if not real. I was told to contact the FBI. Has anyone else pursued with the FBI or police departments?

I received a check and called the company it was written from. They said it was a fraud and to tear the check up. I haven't torn it up because I am checking on it further. But, I was also offered a position and after the second email I received about cashing clients checks I deleted the information. That was before I received the check. Definately a scam!

Yes I was also saved from making a big mistake. I also received an email from jobs.com and they should be held responsible for fake employments ads. Let me tell you, this is not the end of this phony bs. There are too many people out of work and do not need to be mislead. There alot of websites that cater to scammers and I got a list. Dave Hall is a marked man.
Thanks, Mary A, from Texas

Im glad I saw this site before I sent him my information! I just received this email and was considering taking it up because I'm a stay at home mom and about to go back to school thinking it might be a way to bring in some extra money while Im going through school! Thanks for posting this! You all saved me!
