Riversidepayments review: Not an honest company

Very disappointed in this company. They came to my business offering to lower credit card processing fees. They said that their merchant service program would integrate with my company's service program. I asked several times if they were sure it would be compatable and even showed them paperwork from my service program stating that other providers cannot integrate with their system. They assured me that they could do it. After all the paperwork was signed and they wasted hours of my time with PCI compliance lists and other miscellaneous things, they told me that they can't integrate with my service program after all. But that I can use a stand alone program to process my credit cards and then manually enter the data into my service program. I told them that was unacceptable and that is not what I agreed to when I signed the contract. They said they would cancel my enrollment. A few weeks later, I received a call from their Senior Merchant Specialist telling me that I owed them a cancellation fee for terminating my contract early. So, they expect me to pay a fee to cancel a service that I never used and that couldn't provide for me what was promised. That is utter BS! But instead of arguing with them, I gave them their $200 and decided that I share my story with every local business owner that I know so they can protect themselves from this shady company.
