Zoneedit.com reviews and complaints

Ever since ZoneEdit redesigned their Web interface, it's been totally useless. Implemented in JavaScript and it hangs my browser and take many minutes to redraw the screen. They don't respond to Web-based support submissions and they took down their [protected]@ email address a while ago. Too bad, I had high hopes for the new redesign as the legacy interface was pretty limited. But it was better than the new one! They really shot themselves in the foot with this. And there's no excuse for ignoring their customers' cries for help.

Sadly these guys are no longer technical enough to be be offering this service. I have been using their failover DNS service for over 6 years now, but a redesign of their web site that looks like one of those nasty templates from the 90s, and the functionality has been changed such that it no longer works. I emailed tech support and got a response that confirmed my suspicions that they no longer have the technical know-how to do this right. My guess is that they have been taken over. I have also been using dnsmadeeasy and have now moved over entirely to them. I can recommend their service.

Avoid zoneedit.com. After paying them for DNS service, they ignore you. They don't respond to support questions from email or from their support webpage form. I have DNS service for 3 of my domains, and none of them work any longer (for several months). No notice of downtime. No replies to support questions. They just take your money and run. Use other services please.
