Yesterday, I registered for websleuths.com because I was fascinated by all the work members were doing to find Elaine Park and wanted to see if I could contribute. After registering and confirming my email, I went about the rest of my day without logging back in. I logged back in today and learned I was banned, even though I never submitted a single post or sent a single message. I literally just registered and got banned. And no, I'm not a known person in these communities, I was literally just trying to see if I could help. I can't even contact anyone to see why I was banned.

My exact same experience as well. I joined, verified my email, didn't use the site at all until the next day, at which point I was banned. I can't event contact them to rectify because the link is blocked since I'm banned. At least I've found out what the moderation is like before investing any time on the site.
