Truly Nolan Mis-selling of wrong treatment

I had a costly treatment for termites in a stilt home on Marco Island a while ago l..we were advised that tenting was necessary as a treatment they had injecting the property would do the same job for a lot less hassle. Needless to say this treatment failed and I now am faced with another tenting treatment. They were less then helpful in rectifying this and offered me a discount on a tenting treatment. They appear not to standby their representatives, and their recommendations. We went with their recommendations which we have since learned, were inappropriate. I would never have them on my property again and therefore have asked another firm to carry this work out. I would like compensation from Truly Nolan for their mis-selling.. they were Truly Awful

Truly Nolan rip off

Back in Aug 09 I called Truly Nolan since we had so many ants, spiders, roaches etc. A man came out & told me it would be $150. to treat & that we should sign up for 4 extra months at $90.mo. I wasn't sure but he sd I could always cancel it. Well after I paid the $150 & they sprayed, which I may add it poured raining each time after. I asked about that he sd if we see anything he would come back. there was also a guarantee if we were not satisfield they would do it again. Well I didn't take the other program of 4 mo & explained couldn't afford it medical bills. We had to have the guy back since there were spiders/ants/roaches seen. Now last night loads of big ants on the back of our house. When I called for them to come I was told I closed my acct, because I didn't take the extra months. I feel they are a big rip off & we threw $150. away!

After my first consultation I filled out the contract with my credit card number included only after being reassured by my service coordinator that I would not get charged until date of service. He explained to me that if I paid the full amount up front I would receive a ten percent discount. I said I would have to think about it and check my account balance. So the next day (wednesday) the service department calls me to set up an appointment for the following week on Tuesday morning. Well Friday evening I went to purchase groceries and my child's medicine to be told at the register I have insufficient funds. Uh, what happened? You guessed it! They charged me a total $392.35 for a service they have not yet provided and that I did not agree to yet! So I am irate! Not only do I not have food to feed myself and children with my sick child has no medicine! Why would a company ever get money for a service they have not performed? The holiday weekend comes and goes. I finally talk with some one in the service department on Tuesday morning. And she is most "sorry "and of course she "understands". She assures me they will reimburse me. I ask to speak to a manager still not understanding why this has happened, knowing most certain that the money will not be returned soon enough. She assures me she will call me back by five o clock. Guess what? Five o clock comes and goes. Next day I call Bill my service coordinator and he is most sorry and he understands. Yet there is still no money in my account, my kids and I are still hungry and my child now has an ear infection and strep throat and I have no money to take him back to doctors with! Now a week later I still have yet to hear from a manager and they still have my money! I am furious!

Truly Nolan has become one of the biggest pest control companies in SW Florida. Why? Scam tactics. If you call them for any service, they will automatically sign you up for extended contract services. If you do no want this, it requires several phone calls to opt out and they still expect payment for the time they signed you up. It doesn't matter if you use...
