Unauthorized billing
After finding out about a death in the family, had to make reservations through Travel web.com, when I went online to make the reservations, I paid with my credit card, and I didn't receive a confirmation number from them, went on to another site as no confirmation number means no actual reservation, boked my room at another and got billed from them both...

I made a reservation on line for a hotel room. This was made on 2-26-09 and I have been trying to cancel it since then. I am giving them more than a 45 day notice and they still refuse to cancel. Please beware that if you place an order on line you are giving up any rights you may have. I have tried calling the hotel, priceline and travelweb and no one will cancel this reservation. Man there are just too many crooks in this world! Do not use the internet for purchasing hotel/airline reservations, if you do you will lose all of your rights!
