Teche4PC Fraudulent technical support

I was contacted by phone (cold called) by a man who told me my laptop (my son's) had thousands of viruses & numerous files that were extremely harmful to the computer. I was completely shocked because he'd only had the laptop for 5 months, bought brand new. It already had antivirus protection installed from a company I have used for 10 years. The man offered technical support service that would remove all viruses & harmful files, as well as the ability to get additional technical support anytime, day or night, as often as needed - for a fee, of course. He also said that I would be contacted periodically to make sure everything was okay. I have never heard from them again & cannot seem to speak with anyone when I call - I'm always transferred repeatedly & placed on "terminal" hold. The computer has now crashed & I'm trying to have it repaired, if possible. This company is a HUGE SCAM! I will probably be out hundreds of dollars (if it can be repaired), if not well over a thousand dollars (if I have to buy a new laptop)!

Teche4PC Very dumb trick

Teche4PC contacted me while I was browsing internet and informed about several problems with my PC. When I asked what exactly was wrong they’ve pointed several red and yellow exclamation marks that could be found on events log. After I googled this problem a bit I was sad that they’ve managed to trick me on this stupid scam.

I know it was a scam so I had them on the recorded phone for over 30 mins and I will forward it to the right ppl... At least for 30 mins that guy couldn't bother anyone else...
