The buyer wants a refund for money I never received. Said that his offer was for FREE shipping as the ad was showing. FYI, I never mentioned this in my ad. I always charge for shipping. Now, he said that if Reverb was to refund his money, that he would make an other offer with shipping cost included with his offer. So I need to know what is Reverb going to do with this case? Thank you, Richard Johnson (the seller)

Reverb.com Bad reverb.com tech support

Reverb.com tech support used to be excellent. In the last few months it is non-existent. The chat robot is a waste of time. They direct all help or support requests to their help text search page. Problem I am having is the sign on verification box. It is supposed to send an email, but none is sent.

Don't waste your time with the robot. No matter what you request, tech support never answers. You would think sign on would be a critical problem.

Recommendation: Stop using reverb

Reverb.com Order #[protected]

This guitar was sold by me and the buyer filed a complaint to which. I’m made to take back a now damaged guitar so I filed a claim with ups and went thru all the steps and since reverb instituted the return for the return shippment I cannot get the claim paid till reverse responds to the email ups sent them weeks ago which is also holding up the buyer refund as I’m not paying it till my claim is settled as the guitar was dead stock mint and now it’s with considerable less so I’m waiting on reverb

Claimed loss: 1200

Desired outcome: Revere to respond to the ups claim I filed so this can be over and done with

Try reaching out to Reverb's customer support again and emphasize the urgency of the situation, explaining that UPS can't proceed with the claim until Reverb responds. It might help to contact them through multiple channels, like email and their support chat, to get their attention. If you're still not getting a response, posting about your issue on their social media pages can sometimes speed things up. Hope this gets resolved soon for you!

Reverb.com Payments held, keyboard already handed over to buyer

Sold a keyboard to a local person Richard Dorfman. Reverb held the payments and said to me that once goods is handed over it will clear. I drove over an hour to deliver the keyboard personally to the buyer who said he lived too far. After a few days, he decided to return it because it's too high end for him and he couldn't figure out how to play the instrument. Reverb still holding on to my money and I don't have my keyboard back. This is a robbery.

Desired outcome: I want my money paid by the buyer asap or return my keyboard and the other accessories handed over in the same excellent condition I handed them over.

Reverb.com REVERB.COM - Rip-off company sold my Bass and KEPT MY MONEY

Reverb.com sold my Warwick Bass (May) and kept my money. They have zero customer service and NO TELEPHONE. Their mindless chat-bot gets you nowhere very slowly by design. Through email, I demanded payment and they refused. This is Fraud. I filed a complaint with the Illinois Attorney General, Federal Trade Commission and the U.S. Attorney (Chicago). I was horrified at the hundreds of social media complaints against this company whereby people were NEVER PAID. This company is set up like a classic scam with no customer service, no meaningful mechanism for payment (Plaid is useless), zero effort to rightfully make sure money gets paid to Sellers. The CEO is

Reverb.com Deplorable customer service

If you are a seller, beware. Reverb‘s (etsy) uneducated listings dept will baselessly pull your listing claiming trademark "design" infringement and will threaten to suspend you if you relist. They provide no proof and no returned response to their baseless, ignorant claims. They are too lazy to present evidence to their claim or even return emails. You can't call or talk to a human being anywhere other than chat which is useless. Theres been no trademark ever filed for the design of the guitar I listed, and yet the uneducated listing dept cannot be bothered. I would look elsewhere to sell your items unless you want to deal with folks who could care less about their customer base, aka the people that pay their wages.

Reverb charges seller fees that are based not only on the amount the item sold for but also the percentage of tax and shipping fees paid by the buyer. The Ohio attorney generals office stuttered and shrugged it off. How is this not fraud?

I had similar experience. Sold keyboard, payments held. Buyer wants a return due to the fact he can't figure out how to play the instruments. No payment, no keyboard returned. Reverb is a total scam!
