Ragdoll kittens Kitten

The owner advertised on Gumtree posting that she has ragdoll kittens for sale. The picture on her advert n the kittens are no comparison. These kittens are not 8 weeks old. These kittens are between 4 to 5 weeks old. These are no ragdolls, which I have proof of. These are normal kittens. I paid R12000.00 to the owner. Contacted her on several occasions n made arrangements to meet up n return the kitten to which she agreed to. Now this lady ignored all my calls, emails n texts. The kitten is not eating, drinking or sleeping. Crying alot needs her mum! Pls advice!

Ragdoll kittens Matt Galazin Breeder

Looking for a Ragdoll kitten. Do not go to Matt Galazin in Glenmoore. I purchased a kitten that died six weeks later from FIP. He was only four months old. He came to me with fleas, ear mites, pink eye, ring worm and a host of other ailments. He only gives two weeks to give your kitten back. It took a little longer to die.

I also bought a ragdoll kitten from Matt. My kitten was covered with ringworm, had ear mites, fleas, and round worms. She was so filthy and smelt like urine. I have picked up stray cats off the street that are 100% in better condition then what I purchased from Matt Galazin. Google him! Lots of complaints! He needs to have all animals taken from his home!

I am sorry to hear that you lost your kitten. Coronavirus is a benign virus which causes colds in humans ( human specific) bovine, dogs the list goes on. Coronavirus itself is not deadly, BUT if a kitten has a compromised immune system it can turn to FIP, which can NOT be confirmed on a living animal. The only test to confirm a kitten has Coronavirus is a fecal or one derived directly from body cavitie fluids confirmed via PCR DNA/RNA test, that test alone does NOT confirm FIP, simply that the cat has been in contact with the Coronavirus and is shedding it, please note the coronavirus is not one single virus it is several different strains of a cold: type of virus umbrellaed under the name Caronavirus, which is why any antigen or DNA/RNA test can not quantify a predisposition to FIP or confirm FIP, as only 1 strain can turn into FIP, unless the aforementioned mutate to FIP. It is estimated nearly half of all domestic felines will have some sort of positive result if tested for Corona Virus, with varying numbers greater than that in catteries or high number households and rescues. The FIP itself is not what kills a cat or kitten it is the kitten or cats bodies immune systems overreaction which causes death, which cannot be predicted.

While you should of received a healthy kitten from the start, it is more than probable that this kitten was positive for Coronavirus, and it mutated while in your care, and highly unlikely that it had mutated prior as it is not a spontaneous event. Unless you had your vet do a thorough exam and testing within the first few days in which you had the kitten for DNA/RNA status of Coronavirus.

Ideally one would hope that every precautionary test has been run on her cats, and her kittens, but because of the elusive and unpinpointed nature of the Coronavirus(s) there is little protocol besides hygiene that can eradicate it in the breeding environment. It is imperative of any kitten buyer to do their due diligence when they buy a kitten, both before and after acquiring their kitten, responsibility alone does not soley fall on the breeder as once the kitten leaves they cannot control a mutation or a particular strain of virus from changing, as they themselves are not god. In turn if they have had a kitten who had any form of URI prior to placement, I believe it should be disclosed to the buyer, so they may make an informed decision.

Ringworm is devastating. That is reason enough to avoid a breeder. FIP coming from one cattery more than once is a great concern . It means that the corona virus is not clearing the environment . FIP is NOT however genetic or contagious. Every Time a kitten gets the corona / cold virus i, the virus has another chance to get FIP. The Occurrence of FIP is random and unpredictable . It is simply that more occurrences lead to more opportunities to have it morph into FIP. Corona is spread via dirty litter boxes ; it recurs due to crowding.

We are sadden about the loss of our chocolate siamese kitten, due to FIP
diagnosis last week. We put him down last Thursday.
His name was Leo, and we were anxious to get him before Christmas.
So we picked him up around Pottstown, Dec 23, paid $225 cash. He did not
Have papers, but was a purebred, and health guaranteed for FIV and leukemia,
But not know anything about FIP. We met Matt in parking lot and picked up the
Cat, paying him cash only received a generic paper about him.
But no contact number or name. This should of put up a red flag.
His first vet appointment was devastating since we found out he had ringworm,
And a respiratory infection. The whole house was attacked with this ringworm,
Me, husband, two dogs. I want others to know that there really so called breeders
Who do not care but like to get money selling sick kittens.
This is awful and hope he has problems sleeping for ever.
Leo was with us 3 months, and filled our hearts with love.
We will always remember him. Jamie & Cindy
Respiratory infection and could not meow. But he was happy cat and very loving.
We feel that there are sneaky people out there selling sick kittens to make money,
And then disappear.
I did email the breeder and he said he would refund money but have only gotten
$50 towards the cat

And a upper respiratory disease.

Obviously, the person who posted this complaint...does not know about kittens and how vulnerable they are to their environment and contracting communicable diseases. FIP cannot be detected by a person who has sold a kitten.I also purchased kittens from this family, the kittens are the nicest, healthiest, and most affectionate kittens. Our family has sent many of our friends to get a kitten from this person, who is not a breeder. God bless the person who wrote such nasty derogatory statements with ill intent. To mame and injure some one's love for animals. I can attest that I, a Christian love the kittens we got from this person. We love our kittens, who have become some of the sweetest and loving pets we have. We purchased the kitttens in 2008, and 2009.Will definitely call them again, if ever looking for a kitten. Thank you, most pleased in Pa.

Alot of greedy, uncaring, ignorant cat breeders use over and over again queens that are known for throwing kittens that have had FIP and will not pull those queens out of the breeding program.

These unethical ignorant breeders just care about MONEY, not the cats they are breeding.

One particular cat breeder comes to mind, a wanna be cat breeder named is Melanie Lowry of the Lollimops/Catinallity/Sugar Kisses/Precious Persians/WestCoastMews Catteries, that is how many names she has for 1 cattery. Read about her: this will give you an idea what money means to this horrible creature.

Ragdoll kittens Fraud

Yes, I do see you say "you can" give a 3 year health guarantee IF and only IF the buyer uses the cat food you tell them to and that they give the expensive vitamins you tell them to. And declawing voids it all together although declawing would not effect any PRE disposed conditions the kitten you sale may have. Is that really giving a 3 year health guarantee? And is that fair to the buyer? When you know as well as I do the cat food or vitamins will not change anything congenital or hereditary the kitten may have. So what is your point with that one? Is it because you know "blue collar people" who may save up their money to buy one of your overpriced kittens can then not afford that expensive cat food that a consumer can not even purchase at their local Wal-mart? And are those expensive vitamins that a person has to own a computer to even be able to order are they better than the ones I could get somewhere else? You know it would be highly unlikely in this economy peolple could afford all those things that won't effect what your guarantee covers anyway? But hey it gets you out of having to give the guarantee. You even mention on your website oh you understand the economy is bad & people work hard for their money. You really only care about yourself & not your buyers you say "leave as a friend". When it seems to me they are mad at you for your service & treatment & not your friend!
