One word comes to mind.. Shady!! DO NOT BUY YOUR PUPPY FROM HERE! Pure Pet Pups LLC purchases their puppies from dog breeders in PUPPY MILL states! Same as the other reviewer, after having difficulties with my puppy, I found out that my puppy's mother has KCS (which is hereditary if found in dogs of such young age) and is blind in one eye! Pure Pet Pups LLC No one should ever trust, go into, or have relations with Pure Pet Pups

I purchased a puppy from this store at the end of March of 2009. The owner Robert Sherman seemed like a good business man and seemed to care for his puppies. However, that initial impression could be nothing further from the truth. A few days after purchase the puppy developed a corneal ulcer in his left eye. The Vet he recommended (Dr. Fanous) misdiagnosed the medical issue and the ulcer only got worse. Once I took my new dog to a family Vet that I trusted the corneal ulcer was confirmed and KCS Sicca (KereoConjunctivitus) was blamed as the underlying condition. He recommended that I take him to specialist. She too said that due to the dogs young age 13 weeks at the time, that the condition has to be hereditary. The veterinary optimologist started him on an aggressive antibiotic treatment (Every 2 hours/24 hours per day/ 7 days a week). The poor little guy had lost almost 50% of his cornea by this time After the situation did not improve I decided to do some more background research on Robert Sherman, Pure Pet Pups, his breeder network (MidAmerica Pets) and his breeder James Huckabee in Arkansas. Upon talking directly to the breeder they admitted that his mom was blind in one of her eyes and had KCS Sicca in her other eye. Obvioulsy this is a medical condition that should not be bread according to any veterinarian. They seemed to care little and afterall my contract is not with his network or the breeder. My contract is with Robert Sherman and Pure Pets LLC. After providing all the information and medical reciepts to Robert Sherman he said he would settle the situation and reimburse me for my medical bills which is within my contractual rights under California Consumer Law. However ten days passed and I was getting stonewalled by both Robert Sherman and Chris Flemming (The Owner of MidAmerica Pet). I finally walked into the store to get my money yesterday and was given the usual runaround and refusal to uphold the terms of his contract. Pretty much he spit on his end of the contract, telling me he has no money to pay and offering me free food while he is in business. Obviously I have no intrest in his food, I want my vet bills reimbursed as perscribed by law. Pretty much, Robert Sherman started telling me he has no money, no means to pay me, and refused to uphold the end of his contract. The dog he sold me is a PUPPY MILL dog without a doubt. He uses a network that buys from the PUPPY MILL states, and refuses to uphold his instore and contractual guarantees. Had I known his business is run like a lemonade stand I would have never gone in there in the first place. It is now my mission to make sure no one else in my local community has to go through the pain and trauma of dealing with such an incredible scam artist and shady businessman. No one should ever trust, go into, or have relations with Pure Pet Pups LLC or Robert Sherman. What you will get is a sick PUPPY MILL DOG. BEWARE of this Store and Owner! PUPPY MILL. *I am glad to say my dog is slowly getting better but will need treatment for the rest of his life, we love him very much.
