Hi guys I'm very disturbed as to how post bank as stole my 350 grant I receive a date as normal on the 27 the of November 2023 last year for my grant but when I went to take my money out there was a problem with the machine so when I called post bank to ask what had happen they said that Postbank has revised my money due to the fact that there was a problem...

Postbank Erroneous deductions

I went into Postbank on 25/03/2017, to resolve an issue of R2800.00 and R1400.00 that was deducted from my account in the Southernwood branch in East London. They told me that it was for African Bank, i proceeded to African bank, where they informed me that they did not deduct such amounts. I went back to Postbank and they told me that they can't help me as they can't see anything on their systems.
I went out of the bank and phoned the customer care line and explained my story, the consultant asked to speak to the teller that assisted me, but she ran to the back and one of the other tellers (Fatima) took the call and they requested my ID copy and said they will write a letter and send a copy of my bank statement to Head Office. They told me that I have to come back on Monday, 27/03/2017, where the bank manager told me that it was for money that they deposited into my bank account during 2015. I told the bank manager that I have no knowledge of this, but at the end he said that there is nothing he can do, although the consultant said that the transaction was erroneous.
I really don't know what to do about this matter and I am struggling. I depend on my salary every month and for foreign transactions to take place without my knowledge is just wrong.
I would like the bank to be in contact with me regarding this matter as I need those transactions to be reversed.

Postbank fraud

They provide the tips and acknowledge the fact that card fraud takes place - However, it has been two years since i submitted a claim
and brought my complain under their attention, money was paid over to me from Nedbank, i had to wait two days before i could withdraw, the absa ATM in JHB couldn`t process my transacting, when i went to the mall, the system told me that i had no money in my account... i folowed this up with Postbank, After about 8 months of so called investigations i was told that my card was used to withdraw the money in Durban... the money was drawn in Durban at 3 different locations more that 15KMS apart within a question of half an hour, whilst I WAS IN GAUTENG... needless to say they said i had no case... Just for the record POSTBANK, You are fraudsters as much as the people that stole this money from me... how can i ask for a statement in JHB and withdrew the money in Durban 5 minutes later... The woman from from whom i got a statement at one of your postbank branches cloned my card, and you are to stupid and ignorant to do something about it...

I have deposited money into an Postbank account. For two days now they are witholding my money. Their systems are off... There is no other way to get the money... we must wait. It is pathetic. Thius is called theft!

Postbank Postbank is a bunch of crooks

On Monday the 5th Octotber I went to a FNB atm situated inside the Steeledale Pick n Pay. When i then tried to withdraw funds, on the slip from the ATM it indicated that Postbank was experiencing technical difficulties. I then went to an ABSA ATM in the same complex, the receipt also stated that Postbank is experiencing difficulties.

I then went into the Postbank branch located in the centre, who informed me that according to their record I had made a withdrawl. No money was recieved by me.

I handed the teller the ATM receipts, and she made copies, she then requested that I bring a copy of my ID? I WILL NOT, I HAVE BEEN ROBBED AND NOW I MUST STILL RUN AFTER THIS BANK! NO WAYS!

I am in the process of reporting this to the banking Ombudsman, and I am going to lay a charge of theft at the Police station.

I am going toclose this account as soon as this mess is sorted.

BUT ALL stay away from Postbank!

I totally agree with you, I opened two smart save accounts for my kids, and since last week I have been told that their system is down and they cannot assist me with withdrawals to the accounts, on Saturday I went to the Brakpan branch in Sherwood shopping centre, I was told that the scanner is not working, I must go the branch in Dalview, when I got there I was told that they see a message that the accounts are not found on the system, this is really pathetic! I will be closing these accounts as soon as I get my money back.
